Good location, strange front desk personnel, and very noisy room.

The location of the property was nice. We stayed just to play TopGolf and have a girls night out in Knoxville. The bed was fine. It was firm and the pillows were fluffy feather pillows. Checkout went smoothly.

Check in was weird. We stood and waited a couple of minutes until the lady came out of the break room. I greeted the front desk lady with a “Hey,” and a smile. She replied with “Are you okay?” I was caught off guard by something other than a greeting back, and the whole interaction felt off. We stayed in room 106, floor level, and it was the noisiest room I’ve ever stayed in. There was a light beeping noise coming from the front of the room, around the TV area. The air conditioning unit made a weird whirring noise each time it tried kicking on, until it finally kicked on, then was silent. Around 3 AM, I heard a strange knocking noise coming from what I can only assume was the water pipes. It carried on for hours and kept me awake.

The entire experience from checking in to checking out was wonderful. All staff were very friendly, the room was perfectly clean and spacious, the pool was well taken care of and clean. The breakfast area was great with lots of options and very clean. There was a staff member watching over the breakfast area that was friendly and had everything very well stocked. Next time we come through, there’s no doubt that we will pick this hotel out of all the others around it.

Winning weekend all the way around including our hotel stay!

The location was perfect for the track meet we were in town for, being just 10 minutes away from the host school site and 5-15 minutes away from Starbs, Chipotle, Walmart and the location we used for team dinner. With booking.com the rate was less expensive than what was offered as our group rate. Paula, Richard, Josh and every staff member we encountered were amazing: very hospitable, helpful and extremely kind. The beds were comfy, floors and bathrooms were CLEAN and the Dove products were an absolute plus. Josh welcomed us in the lobby to hangout as a whole group and allowed the team the opportunity to comply with curfew and still socialize.

I absolutely hate carpet and shower curtains and those maybe things to consider in the future upgrades, but as everything was so clean it didn't bother me. Also the kids wished the pool was deeper than 5ft, but we were there to run not swim.

Just what we needed

The breakfast was great. The location was close to the interstate and that’s what we wanted.

The room was really good but every time the air conditioner came on it was really loud and disturbing. Other than that it was perfect

The breakfast was the best we've experienced in the 2 months we've been traveling the country. The selection was good and it was the only hotel that wrapped the apples. The cinnamon rolls were delicious. But the best thing was the service. She was kind, polite, generous, caring. She waited for people to be done before shutting down, make sure all were taken care of, even offering to get more for folks when the cut-off time neared. So different from other hotels and even other Holiday Inns Express.
