Aging hotel that may need greater focus on upkeep of maintenance items

Our room was very spacious and it was more like an apartment with two bedrooms, two full bathrooms, and kitchen. Nice breakfast.

There were multiple items needing attention (e.g., toilet paper holder hanging from the wall, kitchen cabinet held up by one of two hinges, a door handle attached by one of two screws), no hair dryer in either bathroom, and an unreasonable fee of $75 to have our dog stay with us.

It was well maintained very clean the room was very clean the staff was amazing especially a blond girl I didn’t get her name but she was wonderful I’m not sure if she checked me in as I had just found out my sister had passed and was quite a mess but they really were very nice. but they were very accommodating and the hotel was very nice I’d stay again for sure and maybe enjoy it more without the other life stuff

The shower was missing the body wash and there wasn’t a pot or pan in the suite so I did buy one to use.

Observation of my stay this time around. Last year the staff was predominantly black. This time thr staff was predominan

I came to this location about a year ago. It appears it has new management. Some great changes and some not so good changes for the customers. They use to give a welcome bag with water a couple of snacks. I am a platinum member. They also used to have Sonesta logo pens. Now they have over the counter bic pens. The new touch of paint was great. It appears there were budget cuts all around.

The breakfast hours. I wish M-F breakfast could end at 9am. Bring back a welcome bag for your reward members.

My power keep going out and the heat in the room did not work. The tv keep losing channels. Them it was a group of disrespectful young women steady being loud and arguing with the employees.

Great room if travelling with family.

Breakfast was better than most chains. Eggs, sausages, potatoes were all hot and plentiful. We had a large refrigerator, which was handy. The beds were comfy. We liked having two bathrooms for 4 people.

Our microwave didn’t seem to work, but it didn’t really matter to us.

It did not have an ice maker and they served pork sausage for breakfast. It would be nice if they served chicken or turkey sausage.

The room was a good size.

There was no toilet paper, shampoo, conditioner, forks, the sheets were old and pilled, the room had obviously not been cleaned, the breakfast was barely sufficient, the gym is a joke.

Good value for the price

Despite some wear and tear - you can tell they are working to improve the facility and it is clean.

The remodeling in the room felt unfinished / unprofessionally completed... almost like a flipped house. Thermostat loose on the wall, shower valve cover incorrectly installed, loose toilet seat, mirrors hung wrong / separating from the frames, incomplete paint along the baseboards, crooked switch boxes, etc. Don't get me wrong - for the price, I didn't expect the Taj Mahal, and it was a fine value... but pride in workmanship would've bumped my score up dramatically.

The manager was rude to her staff and not knowledgeable of the offerings of late check out. They also charged me another $100 at 3am the last night of my stay stating “it happens when we run audits. It’ll go back on your card” as if another $100 was no big deal when I’ve already paid an extra $100 as a deposit

The staff were so kind, friendly, and accommodating

The staff were exceptional and extremely accommodating. They were so kind and the facilities were very clean. Every time I went to the front desk, I was helped and I never felt like a bother. I had my children and it was like being home away from home. They felt very comfortable and the staff were kind to them also.

We stayed 3 nights and had an enjoyable stay.

Breakfast buffet included eggs, potatoes and sausage. Their coffee was good and they also had a small espresso shop. Room was large and had a small couch. Bed was nice. Check-out time was 11:30 which worked great for us.

I will not likely book at sonesta again

The room was nice and the bed was very comfortable

I was not informed prior to booking that the hotel was under renovation, this was not disclosed on either the sonesta website or booking.com. I booked the larger room to be able to study and it was very loud with the construction. I also had to ask multiple times every week to have someone clean my room, I was told it would be once weekly but that did not happen. While the breakfast was good, it was the same every day.

The room was very spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with everything from kitchenware down to dish detergent for the dishwasher.

The hotel seems to be under construction or something. I stayed on the second floor and the hallways look like something out of a horror movie. Peeling wallpaper etc. The elevator is old and janky. The walls are VERY thin. I heard the person next door working the microwave and it was constant banging noise off and on night and day. I think it could have been a washroom? Idk. The room itself was great. The hotel needs some work. At least warn people that the hotel is under construction so they won’t be alarmed.

The staff who knocked on our door several times and we’re extremely rude. Both my wife and I are in our bedroom watching a television series when the hotel manager made accusations of indecent exposure in the windows of our room I am laying in our bed with my shorts on and my shirt off, watching a television series and being stared at by three illegal immigrants who are working for the hotel I know they are illegal immigrants because when I asked the hotel manager, if those people were legal immigrants employed by the hotel, she said more than likely not I had to report them to ICE because of how they were staring in our room and taking photos

Horrible facility and very disappointing.

Location was the best thing. It was within 10 minutes of the hospital where my sister was a patient.

There was no mention that this property was undergoing renovation and I was placed in a room in the midst of the construction. The room, which was supposedly renovated, was a mess. The floors were dirty. The door handles were covered in paint. There was a dirty towel on the towel rack (not mine and obviously used). The baseboards were torn off. There was a sofa sitting on end in the elevator half of my stay. The carpets were filthy. The dispensers (no soap!) in the tub were empty, which I didn’t know until I was in the shower. The plumbing in the bathroom was not functioning properly. I had to push and hold the shower control into place to make it work. The toilet handle had to be jiggled or it would run. There was no safety bar to grab in the very slippery tub. There was a piece of dried spackle (or macaroni - I’m not sure) stuck to the floor when you walked into the bathroom. It took 15 minutes to get checked in while the desk clerk summoned her manager to come argue with another customer about a room rate. The whole experience was absurd, and the room I was placed in was not ready to be occupied, yet it was. The ONLY reason I stayed was because of location and needing to spend long hours with my dying sister.
