fine airport hotel stay.

because of the lousy air flight connections i had on a trip to italy, i was forced to arrive a day early and leave a day late in oakland. that meant two hotel night stays. the staff was extremely accommodating, even allowing me to check out 2 hours past the official checkout time. my final flight home was in the evening and i had no place to go until departure time. a late check out and being able to hang out in their lobby for a few hours was greatly appreciated. the bed was like sleeping on a cloud, especially in contrast to some of the beds i slept in during my italian vacation. lots of choice for breakfast as well. when i needed their shuttle service they were very prompt.

I booked this hotel last minute coz other hotel I booked months ago did NOT have accurate info on BOOKING.Com. The other hotel had NO airport shuttle. This Holiday Express had an airport shuttle that you pay one time $10 fee. Shuttles do rental car runs too. Breakfast was good. Rooms were spacious n clean.

Definitely in need of new towels that are not shredding.

Bad service, employees just didn't care. very disappointed.To start i was supposed to get a 2 bed bedroom and didn't my kids have to sleep in the bed sofa, very uncomfortable. Second, they didn't have any extra blankets, i have to give mine to my daughters, the night receptionist just didn't care if we have enough blankets, she gaves us an unacceptable excuses that they didn't have any?? Weird but truth, how is that possible?? Not only that!! We didn't have enough towels, the next the morning, I called the receptionist and asked for more towels and she told me to go them so I did but at the end my daughters were so upset so they didn't shower. Very bad experience, will never booked again on any this Hotels eve!!! What of way of wasting my money

Won’t ever stay again at a Holiday Inn or Express , not worth it.

Arrived late with spouse , despite a no pet policy was given a room on the second floor 249 , adjacent to a room with a barking dog in it , and an elevator. I paid good money this was an unsatisfactory accommodation. When I went downstairs the front desk clerk was rediculously slow and rude , had to rise early the next morning so gave up and slept in the room .

Good location to the airport. Easy to get to the property off of the freeway and to airport parking.

Room was so-so. Nothing special. Staffing at the front desk was really short. Lots of people waiting in line to check-in and to depart. Parking is VERY EXPENSIVE.

Nice stay at a clean mid priced Holiday Inn.

Everything was great except I was surprised that I had to pay $20 extra to park my car over night! Also, a few more towels in the bathroom would have been nice. Lastly, the plastic eating utensils at breakfast we're really subpar. Way to weak. I broke 2 of them while eating! Please think about upgrading the eating utensils. Thanks.

Convenient stay for Oakland Arena concert goers

This random guy was there everyday our entire week there. He seemed homeless but he kinda scared my kids. He would walk around talking to himself, we even encountered him banging his head on the wall. I’m sure the staff knew he he was because they didn’t mind him at all, honestly I didn’t either but my kids was terrified.

Best hotel sleep in 44 years.

I had the best two nights' sleep that I've ever had in a hotel. I'm sensitive to noise yet for some reason I always expect to sleep well in a hotel, then I remember when I get there that it's never possible because of other guests always making noise in their rooms, creaky floors, doors slamming or noisy conversations in the hallways. I chose this hotel as it's near the airport ($15 Lyft ride away) and although you'd expect noise from planes, I didn't (not that I'd mind that). The staff were pleasant and the place was clean. My room was apparently surrounded by pilots who "go out like a light". If you stay there, be mindful that if you keep your neighbours awake, they may be flying the plane you're on the next day.

It was convenient, close to the airport.

There was a Carbon Monoxide leak, and one was told about it, not even when the fire Dept. Came the only reason I know is because I over heard the fire man tell the other fire man about the leak, and this also happened the day before I came……… Then charged me twice for my room .
