Bistro had limited stock and a broken grill so menu items were limited. No bar soap in room until the last day. hotel offered free airport shuttle. But uses Lift instead which was fine from airport to hotel. yet when needing to go back to airport the counter guys said he didn't have credentials to summon lift. Other person would be in in 5-10 minutes. After 45 minutes I paid for my own Uber to OAK.

Met its need for a concert at the arena.

The staff that I experienced were all kind and accessible. Bed was comfortable. Some pillows were also. Clean bathroom.

-How easy the room card keys were de-magnetized simply by holding against my phone caused the need to go back down to front desk multiple times and was very inconvenient when my hands were full. -The poor bistro area worker needed help also! He was so kind but was the only person working at 9am on a Sunday. -No sheets on pull out couch bed? -AC was not fresh smelling (older building and it was not overpowering thankfully)

Out of a 5 it was a 4.

The inside of the hotel was nice, room was nice a little weird bed set up but it was still comfortable. Also liked that there was a bistro to buy food but please hire more help for the bistro, there was one worker there that told me when we arrived he was working a double and each day he was there and he looked like he was running the kitchen by himself.

The WiFi & tv service weren’t good at all, we really couldn’t watch tv because it was so slow and wouldn’t load or was pixelated.

Overall great just wish the shower water was warmer!

Location the Oakland arena! Easy to find, everything like Starbucks and other stuff in the hotel! Staff was also very friendly!

Close to the airport. Clean comfortable rooom.

Some of the food prep equipment was not working so the food attendant could not prepare most of the items on the menu. I asked the night desk clerk to arrange for a Lyft ride in the morning. When I came down in the morning, I asked the morning desk person to confirm my ride had been called and she said no one arranged for a ride. She did so then.

There were homeless people walking freely around outside I didn’t feel my car was save. The television did not work in the room the cable we only got 6 channels. The breakfast was not free and you had to pay for everything

Keurig machine didn’t work. We got up @0530 & the coffee shop wasn’t open yet. So we were hoping for some Java in the room. The TV didn’t work either. I contacted the front office & they told me a couple tricks on how to get the tv to work. A bit sad for a Marriott property.

We bought dinner and breakfast. It was very good and fairly priced. Didn't use exercise room or pool but might have had we stayed longer.

EXCELLENT ACCOMMODATIONS

The food was excellent. Every meal was tasty. Prices are on particular with meals in this venue, but very expensive nevertheless. The staff was very friendly and accommodating with every interaction.

I didn't like the lingering smell of marijuana coming from rooms. I realize it is legal now, but it is a horrible smell in my opinion. Totally detracted from an otherwise great experience.

I was given an early check in, much appreciated. Very friendly staff at registration.

The restaurant hours could be better as well as more on menu. Cups in the room were not replenished, I was there for two days. Maid did not speak English. $20 to park your car rediculous when you can't park anywhere else in that neighborhood.

Reception staff was wonderful. Room was clean. Lyft from Bart and to the airport was efficient with nice drivers.

1. Room was on the west side of the building, facing busy road and Bart Station. Lights on at the Bart Station all day, all night. That's good for Bart users but visually offputting for us. As soon as the sun dropped westward, it shown directly into the room, hot and bright. Solution was the heavy drapes and feeling shut in on a gorgeous day, using the fan/a.c. to cool the room down. Stupid nonecological room design. There were rooms overlooking the garden: maybe they deprioritize booking.com registrators and give us the sunblasted rooms? Only bibles and book of mormon in the room: either eliminate propaganda or be more inclusive please. Food in the cafe was awful: fatty hamburger over cooked, old bun, all plastic service items. Mormon pepsi, no coke options.

Comfy bed and great room but be aware of location and transport.

Extremely comfortable bed. Huge, well equipped room and decent bathroom. The sofa and footstool were really comfy to lounge on. Lots of very nice towels and clean, good quality bedding. Individual airconditioning worked but was a bit noisy - bring earplugs for a really good sleep.

The location didn't worry me as I arrived at night and left next morning, but the large van/tent/shack encampment just outside the fence may be offputting for many. No teabags provided in the room and only one pod each of caffeinated and decaff coffee - this seems a bit mean, as does providing only disposable paper cups in the room for use with the coffee maker. Selection of food at the restaurant and vending area was a bit limited. Be warned that the free airport transfer involves calling the hotel and staying on the line while they find you a Lyft car - expensive if you're calling on an overseas SIM, you might be better to arrange your own Lyft/Uber.

Enjoyed our stay at the Courtyard Oakland airport.

We booked elsewhere and had to make a last minute switch due to no heating/ac or shuttle at original hotel. We arrived at the Courtyard and were warmly greeted. Offered shuttle to return from rental car drop off and again to airport in the morning. The property felt safe and the beds were great. Free coffee in lobby early in the am.

Price could have been cheaper - but oh well.

Clean, comfortable and well appointed and furnished room and communal lobby area. On site restaurant was reasonably priced and "pub style" food was fine.

Parking was limited and was difficult finding a space upon returning to hotel following concert. Took a while until hotel parking/security employee could resolve the situation.
