    Sound proof is so so. The time we stayed at the hotel was the end of March. It was so cold outside, but unfortunately it wasn’t warm enough in our room even though AC running. We couldn’t control temperature and it seemed to set very low. Plus no additional blanket in the closet, therefore we couldn’t sleep well. My husband asked other person in the elevator if it was cold in his room. He said exactly the same thing. We need extra blanket at least!

    During our recent Chicago trip, we stayed at Crown Plaza Loop with fairly high expectations especially after a fantastic experience at Crown Plaza Noida. Unfortunately, this stay turned out to be quite a contrast. Right from check-in, things felt off. We were informed that we would be notified once our room was ready, but even after the official check-in time passed, there was no communication from the front desk. After waiting and following up ourselves, it became clear that the commitment made earlier was simply not honored. For a hospitality brand, this lack of basic coordination and accountability is disappointing. The reception staff, who are the primary touchpoint for any guest, came across as cold and somewhat indifferent. A warmer approach and better customer engagement could have significantly improved the overall experience. It felt like the team could benefit from some focused training in customer service and guest handling. That said, not everything was negative. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The housekeeping staff were prompt, courteous, and responsive—definitely a highlight of the stay. The gym facility was another letdown. Given the reputation the hotel holds, the fitness center felt very basic so don’t expect anything fancy or well-equipped. Overall, this is more of a no-frills, basic stay rather than a memorable hotel experience. While the property has decent infrastructure, the service at the front desk and limited amenities leave much to be desired. Compared to the warmth and efficiency experienced at Crown Plaza Noida, this stay was a serious disappointment. For a brand that promises consistency, this location falls short where it matters most guest experience.
