Disgusting experience!!

The location

The service was the worst!!! They never came to clean the room for two days. They gave me the wrong room. People smoking marihuana in their own parking lot It’s an old building and so dirty

There really wasn’t anything in particular that I didn’t like. It would be nice to had a little bit more seating in the lobby, but other than that, the food was good. Location was good.

It was ok and good location but l feel not great for the price you pay per night.

Its location and the disabled room was comfortable.

Thought the pool area quite small and crowded. Sadly our evening meal in the restaurant was quite poor quality and certainly not worth the money we paid. I returned part of mine for extra cooking and my husbands fish was very bland with little taste. We told the waiter but got little response. Having to walk through /ride through on my mobility scooter the restaurant to access the Broadwalk was a bit awkward and at times difficult to get past people coming through a single door.

Lovely old but clean and comfortable hotel with awesome staff!

I didn’t think I was going to like this property as much as did, but for one reason or another we always come back to this hotel. It’s a bit ragged but the beds are comfortable, you get good water pressure, it’s very clean, the promenade lends itself to long walks by the beach… but what I think really makes us want to go back here time and time again are the employees. Everyone is so nice - they each go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable and help you sort out needs during your stay. Natasha, Devon, Alexis- all the people at the front desk, they are awesome and the reason why we always return.

The food is just not good. Overpriced, and bad quality food. And the personnel at the restaurant is a bit all over the place.

Location. Fantastic staff members. Huge bar and restaurant sits right on the beach. What a view!!

It needs a little updating after around three iterations but management says they are going to be renovating the first of the year.

The Marriott is a very good option to stay relax and enjoy your stay in a safe environment.

Very nice area far from the crazy part of Hollywood Blvd. The hotel is very well equipped a comfortable. The staff was friendly and professional.

I did not like the fact that the umbrellas by the beach are expensive and at 5pm when the sun is still strong, they company will pick them up.

Another day in paradise

I like my room, 304 much better than the last two times, I think were 426. Not exactly sure of the number but the view looked down on a rooftop of a building that might have contained the air conditioner compressors. Not pretty. I would, however, like to acknowledge your front desk manager Devon. She is the epitome of Marriott customer service. Please tell her I said so. And take care of her, she is one of your best assets. All your personnel were excellent and hospitable. I will be returning the first week in October when I introduce two of my daughters to your facility and the surrounding area. I am sure they will love it.

Nothing. I just wish you could make the area behind the bar much cooler for your workers. Unfortunately, they sweat back there and that's not good. It needs immediate attention. And why are the fans above, in the ceiling over the bar, not working? Please fix them, too. I have been in upper management all my life. Please take care of your personnel, they are your backbone. This is not rocket science.

Food quality was goog most ofvthe time. But service staff morning hostess for brackfast vary rude.

The small restaurant that you have never was used beacuse nobady can eat in aeace so cold . the AIr conditionershoud be broken and they didnt care. For this issues all the guest have to wait for outside cafeteria andvtjay dodlnt have enough tables. We were family of 7 and always was an issues trying to get a placee to eat. Theybonly have 2 big tables🙄. It says in the contract that yoy can get free mon alcoholic fruit small juices pina colada or trawberry and hey didt want to give us for my kids we had to call the manager. Very bad experience. No enough light in the outside cafeteria light bulbs broquen. I do notvrecommene tbis place at all. All money spended to have agreat family time was so bad at this place. Never again!!

Overall we didn’t care for Hollywood beach

The property has a nice beachfront location and we enjoyed the food and outdoor bar

The facilities are clean but definitely outdated. We overpaid for what we got in my opinion. It was windy on the day we arrived and despite photos the pool area is small, older and not heated. So between that and the red flags at the beach we wasted our money staying beachfront pre cruise and would have been better off staying near the port.

The stay would have been great had it not been for the pool issue.

I like the location of the hotel and the room was very clean when we arrived.

I didn’t like that my 2 nieces guests were not allowed in the pool area. The first day of arrival I was asked if I was having guest I said no. I am local and my sister asked if I could pick up my nieces from school and drop them off at home . I decided to take my nieces to the pool on day 2 of my stay and the front desk staff said they could not use the pool. The staff should have gave me the 2 wrist bands for my 2 guests. They told me the beach was public and my guest could go there it ended up being too cold to swim in. I have been to this hotel before and really liked it that’s why we booked again. Unfortunately don’t think I would be coming back. For the amount paid my 2 guests should have been allowed access to the pool area.

Great location along Hollywood Beach.

Rooms offer a great view of the Atlantic Ocean. Very nice patio restaurant with view of the ocean and pedestrian walkway along the beach. Rooms were very comfortable.

This hotel is not what I expected

The only thing I like about the hotel is that the hotel is right in front of the beach. The view is quite lovely.

We were disappointed that there was no microwave in the room. Under the sheets, there are some sand. The walk from the garage To the hotel is overwhelming. I didn't see any valet. If I was alone with my kids I would not be able to bring all the stuff on my own.

It’s old and a bit run down. It needs an overhaul and updating of everything. Balcony and balcony chairs were dirty, and balcony doors were corroded and dirty. The breakfast was ok. The food came out quickly, but was cold and tasted like powdered eggs.

Wonderful for a gateaway

The room was great. The front desk was very helpful and they had champagne and snacks from 12 pm -7pm every day. The pool and hot tub were nicely kept. The beach was very nice. The bed was comfortable. We rented a car but did not need it much. Everything is within walking distance and the FLL airport is so close and can be easily reached via uber/lyft.

A perfect spot for a quick getaway in the sun!

Such a great location, right on the beach and close to the waterway. We were able to walk to bars, restaurants, and shops, and rode the bikes every day.

Couldn’t get a wink of sleep

Property was nice

Room was most uncomfortable experience I ever dealt with. The a/c was the loudest thing I ever heard. It turned on n would shut off every 5-10 mins. N was the loudest thing while doing so..every time it would wake me up. N when it would shut off. It got crazy hot. Couldn’t fall asleep all night.
