Worst experience ever with any holiday and I've ever stayed at.

Nothing the place is absolute dump. It's essentially a motel 6 dressed up to look like a Holiday inn Express

Mold in the bathroom, phone lines were cut, floors were dirty, the box spring cover was all torn, and curtains were missing pieces to blackout the outside. On top of that some rednecks decided to have a tailgate party outside of the room and were extremely noisy. The staff made no effort to shut this down prior to a complaint.

Driving home from Florida and this was the perfect spot to rest. Hardly anyone there. Nice room for kids to enjoy and the pool was warm and delightful.

Disappointed.

Close to the highway.

When we got to the room we noticed a wet spot on the bathroom floor. Wiped it up and didn’t think much about it. Showed up a bit later and realized toilet was leaking. The next morning we wanted to get going early to beat the Chicago traffic. My wife got in the shower, by the time she was done, the water was backed up to her shins. I passed. We both told the desk clerk and she just shook her head. Breakfast was to start at 7 a.m. as it was a Saturday. We were there a few minutes before so we could eat and get on the road. We were waiting with several families that had kids in a BB tournament for an 8 a.m. game. Opened at 7:15. Pancake machine was out of order. The usually awesome cinnamon roles were dry. My wife thought they were from the day before. We love Holiday inn Express but this one was very disappointing.

The staff was nice, bed was comfy & breakfast was ok.

The only issue we had was when we paid the room deposit with cash, although the lady that checked us in was nice she had troubles doing the cash. Stood there an extra 10 min for her to figure it out, then she finally said she got it. I think she knew we was taking awhile because she accommodated us with 2 free snacks from the snack area, which was GREAT customer service. However, We got checked in but the next morning they charged the card we paid for the room with for the amount of the room plus the $100 deposit that we initially paid for in cash. Anywho, when we saw the charge that morning, it was another lady at the desk name Jasmine, came through and helped us out. She was really good and patient. She even gave us a few more hours to stay in the room before check out, which was also GREAT customer service. Everything is taken care of now. Thank you both!

Never again!

Not much

It was so loud! You could hear everything in the other rooms. The first room I had smelled like a very old motel, and the heat wasn’t on. It was freezing in there. They moved me to another room, so at least the heat was now on, but I could hear everything going on in the room above me. It’s a very outdated hotel room for a Holiday Inn express. Also, nothing was plowed or shoveled. I had to walk through slushy snow to get to my car. I was there for two days, and the only thing shoveled was a very narrow walkway from the door to the parking lot, but nothing done anywhere else.

The clean workers were really nice but they didn’t clean our room , when we got there we opened the sofa bed and it was full of doritos. The cleanliness could of been better.

The air conditioning in our room didn't work good we was hot all night out pull out couch didn't have any sheets on it so when we went to ask for a blanket they said that they couldn't find the blankets but said we have a fitted sheet then when we got it back to our room the fitted sheet was actually four pillow cases. When we went to breakfast I got a already made cheese omelet that was completely frozen

extremely disappointed in the price I paid

the only good thing about the hotel was the night shift employee was super nice. she had to give us towels because only one was in our suite, our conditioner was empty as soon as we got in the room..

the first shift employee was kind of rude.. the breakfast was hard the first day we ate it.. biscuits were like hockey pucks, egg omelets were hard.. the second day breakfast wasn’t even served until about 9:30 and it was over by 10:00.. the suite we had only had a/c and heat in one of the rooms so the other was extremely hot we had to buy a fan. the pool was warm but very nasty, hair all over and the bottom of the pool had a lot of dirt like it was poorly maintained..

I had a confirmation for a request. First floor was confirmed but not honored. Stayed on 2nd floor. No TV guide in room - none at front desk. Clerk not very helpful. Couldn’t check to see if credit card had been charged. 🥴
