There was no breakfast which would've been nice. I'm assuming it was because it was New Year's Day morning though
No mini refrigerator in the room

We are from Elkhart but totally love this hotel for special occasions. It was my husband’s birthday and we just wanted to have dinner and a few drinks and relax at our favorite hotel. The staf& is amazing!

Big room fantastic bathroom quiet elevators and FAST, staff friendly and accommodating, they helped me with my GPS on my phone, printed out directions to my reunion, great location, everyone staying there seemed happy
Need storage in the room - either an etegere or bookcase would be handy. We lived out of our suitcases

It was a nice hotel, very clean.
Never got to experience the rooftop bar due to private events and then the following night the closed due to weather.. Complementary water is an empty water bottle that they make you go fill up on another floor. They dont even have water on every floor... On top of the price already being higher than most hotels you have to pay for parking as well. No free breakfast.. Their are much nicer hotels for better or equal pricing with more accommodations.

Excellent. Staff was very helpful and attentive. Food was good quality. Hot food was served hot! Love that.

I liked the cleanliness, and the location, the bed was very comfortable.
Staff seemed to be stressed. Holiday weekend. I get it but I felt like we were a bother when we asked questions.

Overall everything is nice. Location is perfect for downtown events. It’s very clean and polished.
There’s a couple things I didn’t love. 1. Parking cost $15 a day but the location for parking is directly beneath FREE public parking upstairs in the parking garage… and across the street from FREE public parking. I can’t justify paying $15 a day for parking in Elkhart when there’s free parking literally feet away. 2: We were not told there would be a private ticketed event taking up the entire rooftop bar on the 4th of July until we were almost done with the check in process on site. I understand the demand for private parties but there was no warning about this until after I was physically at the hotel. There should be a warning on booking.com. I was bummed about this because this is a big reason be booked the hotel that night. A couple things I think should be thought about: 1. warning people before they book that some facilities will not be available on their chosen timetable. I really think paying guests should have access to most facilities during their stay. Having staff off for the holidays and facilities closed is totally acceptable with a warning. 2. We were told at the front desk “it would look bad” if guests were allowed to go upstairs to the bar during fireworks while the ticketed party was going on because each person attending the party paid $xx to get into the bar that night. I think something worth looking into is sectioning off some space for already paying guests to enjoy the rooftop as the party goes on in a different section of the bar.

Staff met us with enthusiasm and great customer service. Close parking and close to eating and museums in the downtown area. The room had a nice sitting area. Bathroom was clean and spacious. Loved the rooftop area for drinks and food. Also ate twice at the restaurants on site of the hotel. Everything was close and convenient for coming and going throughout the county.
Everything was great and I can't think of any improvements needed.

Very comfortable rooms. Great location

Huge bathroom, lots of towels, extra bath mats; comfortable bed; nice breakfast dining room and another restaurant on site.
Desk clerk had a terrible time checking me in, finding reservation (booking.com has my last name combined with my middle name that I go by, AND she seemed to think that I was from Amsterdam when it's booking.com that is there...). She pulled away from me when I reached to see my own driver's license as she looked at it questioning whether I was really from Amsterdam - as if she were seeing that on my license. For an adult to be requesting to see what she was seeing and her pulling it away from my reach was just insulting. The check-in process took forever as another man waited patiently behind me. The clerk had been doing something with small post-it notes when I first approached the desk and contin. finishing that up before helping me.
Breakfast room desperately needs a sign at the podium telling whether to seat yourself or wait. The 3 staff never smiled a single time & there was no greeting, no sign telling us the procedure (which was not obvious as in most hotels). The one person behind the counter that could tell us the procedure ignored me as I stood by a pastry case- literally walked past it and me without a word. I finally asked if I could have 2 things from the pastry case and was told I needed to "order over there at the cash register," which no one was manning. I waited there, had to ask him more questions to find out what was going on & whether I should show my breakfast voucher to someone or sit down. Only then did I learn that someone would take our order at table where we'd finally seated ourselves. By that time, we'd gotten our main breakfast foods from the buffet where there was no butter, jellies, milk, juice, coffee - all those things one apparently (though not made apparent) has to order. The food was just OK - cold, dry potatoes, decent eggs, but better than most American hotels of this price, which was a good value in this nice, newly renovated hotel.

Location was great! Hotel is nicely updated. Room was clean, mattress was comfortable bathroom was nice and big. Restaurant and bar were great. The breakfast voucher was perfect.
Room 305 had 2 small, frosted windows and no windows to see outside so it felt sort of closed in. Also, our wall backed to the elevators. It wasn’t horribly loud but you could hear it every time it moved. No bathroom fan.

Very comfortable beds, a great shower area and a beautiful bathroom! We were very impressed! And a great bar down in the lobby! Also, liked the parking garage in the back, very convenient! The location was perfect for our visit to downtown Elkhart! Thank you very much!!
The only change I would suggest is to add a lamp or overhead light to the room. The room is so spacious, it needs more light.
One more thing, the towel hook outside the shower should be on the side that the shower door is on. The way it is now, in Rm 606, requires you to step out of the shower to reach a towel which is slightly inconvenient.

We really liked Room 501. This spacious corner room was exceptional. We hope to get that room or similar again.
We were disappointed the Rooftop Bar closed at 10pm and we arrived just after 10pm. The next night the Rooftop Bar was closed due to a private party. That bar is a special feature of the hotel and we wanted to share it with the others we were travelling with.

I like that there is a restaurant/bar on site. The covered parking garage is nice, but too expensive.

The rooms were very clean and confortable. We appreciated a wait staff member that learned of our messed up paper work and comped our breakfast with her apologies.
The staff did not honor the what we paid for at Bookings.com and the front desk was rude about it after we showed her what we paid for. We were advised by this person not to use online sites to book and blamed booking.com. After talking to management about the online payment the manager offered to send a coupon for dinner for a future stay. We did not receive any coupon

The room was huge and very clean and comfortable. We had a small problem with our original room that they couldn't fix and they immediately put us in another room and offered to help us move and gave us vouchers for breakfast the next morning! Excellent customer service and very friendly people! Breakfast ended up being wonderful also. Thank you so much. The girl working at the bar/restaurant downstairs was awesome too. Super friendly!
The live tv channels you get aren't too many but we werent in the room that much so it really didn't matter.
