My toddler thinks you should have microwave popcorn in the microwave. She can’t have coffee.

Very nice old building, updated rooms, very clean.

I basically liked everything. The room was large with nice big windows, the hotel is formerly the headquarters of a newspaper, lovely old building. It was everything I expected a more upscale hotel. They do not do breakfast or have a restaurant, but there are multiple restaurants within walking distance.

I wish they had kept more elements from whatever the building originally was. The stairwell hinted at a very intriguing past life. Also, this is an extended stay hotel, so no breakfast. I didn't realize that when I booked. But the Square Donut down the street was a great find for breakfast.

I enjoyed that it was just a few minutes walk to campus for family weekend. Huge bonus if was next to the children’s museum

It sits on a long straight road downtown. On the second floor we had an excellent spot to hear drag racing cars into the wee hours of the morning.

Perfect night stay

The size of the room was pleasing. Bathroom was a great size as well. The room was the right size for two people. I enjoyed the full size kitchen and how convenient everything was.

Parking lot was behind the hotel. After checking in my husband needed to put a piece of paper to let them know we are staying at the hotel.

Most accommodating

From the location to the room was very accommodating. Best of all we got to bring our dogs and they seemed comfortable quite fast. This will be where we stay from now on. Especially now they allow your pets. Dog treats could be a great item to add to their cupboard

This was the best hotel we stayed in during our four day trip. I would book with them again.

We didn't eat breakfast. The room was clean and spacious. The bed was comfortable and I slept well. There were a few sketchy looking vagrants in the neighborhood so we didn't go for a walk but if it were earlier the area would have been lovely.

Can't really say because you can't control the environment outside your business. The homeless folks were a little close for comfort for me.

In the downtown area. They had parking! I was worried since location is inside the city/downtown. Easy drive to Saint Mary of The Woods College, about 10-12 minute drive.

The only thing I didn’t like was that the AC in my room wasn’t cooling enough.

It was a great room. Clean, air conditioning was awesome, great television.

I asked if there was an early check in, and a late check out option. The staff member told us over the phone that this property could accommodate that. The staff member said that he would note that we wanted to check out between 1pm-2pm on our reservation. at 11:40am, the front desk called to remind us that check out was at 12. I tried to let them know that we had a late check out, but they had already hung up. Before I could call back, a hotel attendant was knocking on the door to come in and clean, it was only 11:50am at this point. I answered and told her that we were finishing up our packing. She said okay and that she would come back. I shut the door and went to call the front desk, but before I could, the front desk called again to let us know that a maintenance man needed to get in our room. After spending over $200.00, and getting told that late check out was available for us, just to be rushed out, not by one person, but three. I have never had anything like that happen to me before at this property, let alone anywhere else.

Overall the location is great near many things including food, entertainment, campus, and convention center. The room had everything needed for a comfortable stay. The property felt safe and secured.

There was a bit of noise that carried through from the streets below and the tub was clean but seemed a little dingy. I've stayed here before with more economical rates, but this time the rate per night was much higher.

Misrepresentation and chaos

Location and rooms were nice

The misrepresentation that I was booking directly with Candlewood. I was overcharged for the rooms along with it being a prepaid room. I cannot recommend this to anyone.
