Room 3 is ok but becareful with this property. This is a large private house renting out bedrooms.

We stayed at Go House on the way to Vancouver Island and when we came back for our return flight. Room Number 2 is not very good. See below. Room Number 3 is much better. The property is close to a bus stop for Richmond, Skytrain and Stevenson (recommended). Close by to restaurants and supermarkets. An Uber from the airport is around $20 CAD. Room 3 is a much better room. It dos have a proper en-suite. It has a sink and a kettle. There is a microwave outside the door. All rooms were clean. Beds were comfortable and all clean bedding. The price is cheap compared to the hotels nearby. I suppose you get what you pay for. We did not see Room number 1 to know if it has an en-suite bathroom.

You need to becareful at this property. The house is owned by a Chinese family including children. It is not a commercial property or a house that has been converted for a BnB. It is just a big house and the owners rent some of the bedrooms out. Some of the photos give the impression of a large lounge but this is blocked off so the family can watch TV. We stayed in room 2 at the beginning of our trip. This room states "Private Bathroom". This is sort of true. The bedroom has no sink, kettle, TV, etc. Just the bed. The bathroom is on the landing. They put a notice on the door "Private Bathroom for room 2". The childrens room is between your room and the bathroom. The adults sleep just round the corner. Sorry that is not what I call a room with a private bathroom. You share the house with the family. Its like staying in a strangers house for a few nights.

Top Value for Money - A Stay I’d Gladly Recommend

- My room was very spacious and had its own bathroom and walk-in closet. - Very well equipped space - Located in a quiet neighbourhood, it is within walking distance of public transit and close to all the main attractions by car - Friendly host and prompt communication over the app.

- It was very close to the airport so during early evening (my bed time) I could still hear the roar of the plane engines. - A fan would have been a nice addition. My room was a little warm and although I left the windows open it did little cool me down. - A TV would have been nice.

The bedding was mediocre; the pillows weren’t that comfortable, and 2 more would have been helpful. The comforter did not fit the king sized bed.

It was just what we needed… a stop over night place where we could get a good , comfortable sleep after a long flight from Melbourne on our way to Toronto. Didn’t want to spend a fortune on things we wouldn’t use etc. this was perfect

Great homestay

Huge room with loads of light, a little area with kettle and sink with cups and plates etc and an area to sit and eat. Big comfy bed. Located within walking distance to supermarket. Close to airport by car.

Go House is in a quiet location with local stores for all your food requirements just a short 10 minute walk away For major shopping and the Sky train, a 30 minute walk through the neighborhood Busses run past the local shopping centre and go to other centers like Steveston village.

Go house is very accommodating but cooking facilities are very basic, a microwave is the main method of cooking. A great coffee machine is available for visitors to use.

Nice place to stay if you don't have mobility issues like me.

Nice house in a nice neighborhood, walking distance from coffee shop, food, grocery store, and local shopping. I felt safe staying there and going out to eat the next morning.

I specifically booked this location because the description said "Entire unit located on ground floor" and that was what I needed because I have an ankle injury. I received an email during my flight confirming my room would be on the ground floor, but that email was rescinded 25 minutes later, and I was given a room on the second floor, which was difficult to access due to my ankle injury.

Underwhelming Stay

Pleasant neighborhood and the coffee area was quite nice. We were warmly greeted.

Very spartan room with an odd assortment of furniture. The door had some kind of egg carton foam topper glued to it as a sound barrier. So weird. There was no TV, no proper reading lamp, no kleenex, and no adequate area to do your hair or makeup. The bathroom had a couple of mismatched towels, no facecloths, only one lightbulb in the 3 light fixture, and some 3/4 empty body wash bottles in the shower. The room was clean except the shower track and wall by the sink needed a deep clean. Why are all the cleaning supplies and tools by the toilet? It felt like we were staying in a reluctant relative's spare room.

Excellent value for money. Lovely neighbourhood, close to shops, 30 minute walk to sky train to downtown/airport. Very clean en-suite room. Lovely comfortable bed. Great shower. Very useful having a shared fridge/microwave etc. Fiona was friendly and resolved an issue we had, immediately. Would highly recommend.

Just a quick drive from airport (Uber cost $20), this room in a spotless house in a well-treed neighborhood has everything you need for a one-night stop or several nights: comfortable bed, private bathroom, full shared kitchen with tea/coffee supplies, shopping center and park within 3-400 meters, etc. Great alternative to a pricey airport hotel.

Minor detail - the security camera at front door played a voice message alert every time someone approached or left, which was heard clearly in my bedroom.

Quaint, neat & hard to beat

So close to public transport & local shopping. It was a quick bus trip to Richmond-Brighouse railway station & then onto YVR or Vancouver Waterfront. There is also a local shopping centre available for groceries , pizza, bottle shop &, of course, McDonald's. Plenty of coffee is available & a full size kitchen helps keeps your travelling costs down.

There wasn't a lot not to like as Lucy was quick to respond to any queries that you may have. The rooms could have done with some form of cooling as during the warmer nights the room can get quite stuffy without opening the window. Lucy quickly organised a portable fan for us to use during our stay. Perhaps a TV would be a welcome addition to the room.
