Excellent as always.

I was surprised the breakfast was the continental breakfast but was sold as a great breakfast. My pet was attacked but fortunately not hurt by another dog on the last day.

Great tub, plenty of hot water. Comfortable bed. Delicious breakfast and coffee. It's VERY pet friendly, and I'm pretty sure that's why this place is expensive, lol. If you have a dog, stay here!

The rugs were older than me. I wasn't comfortable without slippers or socks. A little black mold in the shower, down low, easy to miss. No elevator, and my boyfriend's knees are bad. Stay somewhere else if you don't have a dog. Just my advice.

There were ants ALL over our room. We told the staff and they just brushed it off. There are minimal restaurants within distance of the property. There isn’t much around it either. Room was very run down, our fireplace didn’t work, and there was a leak in the hallway right outside our door.

Breakfast was decent like the fireplace in the room and the room was spacious.

I didn't like having to haul our luggage up the stairs since there was no elevator. Also couldn't figure out the thermostat in the room it seemed a bit outdated.

Breakfast was okay, at least there was yogurt and bagels and they were fresh.

The room we stayed in had 2 huge sticky stains on the floor. The bed in the room had a dip in the middle, seriously. The refrigerator was pretty much unusable it was so small and it was very old. Furniture was scratched and old. I reported this to the person at the desk of the hotel and received zero response in reference to the stuff on the floor.

My niece and I really enjoyed our relaxing few days at The Morgan and would stay here again.

Check in was easy and fast and the gentleman at reception was informative. The breakfast was good and was more than I expected with many choices. Our room was large and comfortable. The bed was comfortable and the bedding was clean and attractive. We really enjoyed the coziness of the fireplace. We enjoyed the pool area though it is a bit on the small side. It hotel is a bit dated, but it was nice to come back to after our days' adventures.

After first night I had called office that we wanted housekeeping. When he came back late afternoon it hadn't been cleaned. I called again to at least get fresh towels. Housekeeping arrived with towels and apologized. Said they never got word that we had requested service. They dumped my garbage can while there which was nice.

Our room was not cleaned, the phone in the room did not work and the ice machine was broken. When I mentioned that the room was not cleaned they said I had to request it. No one mentioned that to me at check in.

Great Stay

The location is great, very close to everything, which made it so convenient... The staff were awesome, friendly, and very informative... The hotel is very clean, although they do allow pets. You couldn't tell unless you have allergies, so be aware because my husband had bad allergies all weekend during our stay. The continental breakfast is just that, nothing special, but fresh and hot every morning and very clean... it was cold while in San Simeon but very fresh air, and the heater in the room warned it up quickly... We would stay here again... Oh, and there's plenty of parking...

There is nothing bad about the hotel, but, I'm 65 and the people above us had no consideration for anyone, they were up at all hours of the night, it literally sounded like there were a couple of heavy animals running around the room throughout the night, it was had getting sleep... I wish people would have a little more consideration for others. They aren't at home. They are sharing a hotel with lots of other people...

Very friendly, lovely room and view. Breakfast was good..porridge, cereals, fruit, waffle maker, toast, juice..we also loved the medical restaurant next door and the proximity to Hearst Castle. Highly recommend. Would definitely return
