Money grabbing, cruel and heartless hotel…Where is the hospitality..

Looked perfect online for my Mum who needed somewhere to rest for five hours before my Brother could drive across from Owosso to Chicago( circa five hours)

Booked this online for my 80 year old Mother who had taken ill on the aeroplane, and spent the night in hospital having tests. Due to arrive at the hotel at 5.30am. Paid circa £100.00 for the room. When booking was confirmed, had email to say could not check in until 2pm. Called the hotel only to be told my Mum could check in early at a further cost of £150.00. When we explained. Mum just needs to rest for a few hours until my brother can get to Chicago to pick her up in circa 5 hours. This was not an option. On departure Mum had been charged circa £150,00 on her card. After numerous attempts to speak to the accounts department at the hotel, to reason with them. Mum has been cut off and has emailed numerous times, but had no response. I think this is totally unacceptable behaviour and would not recommend anyone stay at a hotel that has such a blatant disregard for the elderly and vulnerable. I have resisted writing this review as I wanted to give the hotel the opportunity to explain this overcharge at what looks like a company taking advantage of an elderly lady. We have heard nothing…

Great accommodations near O'Hare, we'll be back!

We appreciated the convenience and punctuality of the airport shuttle, great drivers and always on time! The property was super clean and modern, the beds and pillows were very comfortable, and staff was helpful and friendly. We didn't get to enjoy the lounge area, but we hope to next time. The vibe looks chill, yet welcoming!

So I booked my room on booking.com and total was close to $300 and was over $400 when I checked in. Then room had a very loose shower curtain so the shower curtain in no way would stay shut so has to hold while showering and water was everywhere then the tool keep cycle flushing all night so very hard to sleep. Awful.

Parking was a bit of a challenge as we had to follow the shuttle to remote parking. Though not far, it would have been nice to have knowledge right off the bat so as to avoid the bottleneck at the front entry.

Good location easy yo find from the airfield. Comfortable bed. Walking distance to restaurants and shops.

Don’t stay here!

The bathroom was tiny. The door was about a half an inch from the toilet and no matter what I did while taking a shower the water flooded the bathroom. The tub filled up with water above my ankles, while taking a shower. When I alerted the staff when I was leaving, I was expecting some sort of a discount but the person behind the counter just said thank you. I’ll let maintenance know.

OVERALL, IT WAS A "DREADFUL" STAY AND EXTREMELY "OVERPRICED"

NOTHING in regards to the room. The waiter was very good and the food was good

The room was dirty, the carpet felt wet when walked on with my bare feet. The molding was coming off in the bedroom, the extra blanket felt like it hadn't been washed nor did the sheet on my bed. Overall it was a DREADFUL STAY!

Won’t stay there again

I did not appreciate that. They started cleaning the rooms at 8 o’clock in the morning. I had a late flight and didn’t check in till after 11 o’clock. I expected to sleep in and could not because of how loud it was from them cleaning the other room rooms above below and next to me, the walls are paper thin, and you can hear every word.

An excellent choice for checking out Chicago as a tourist.

I really liked the proximity to AllState Arena, since my friend and I were going to the Charli XCX concert from there. I also greatly appreciated being able to connect my computer to the room TV.

The price was good for a quick overnight stay and was close to many restaurants.

When booking, none of the important information or property policies listed a deposit was required. I don't mind paying one, but it should be listed when booking at this property. The staff was quick to get me on my way, but I also felt like a bother. I didn't like that it also cost $15 to park when I am a guest staying at the hotel.
