The free parking was a great feature, and the price was cheap.
Even though it was dated (which isn’t necessarily a bad thing), it felt a little dirty. The wall had a stain on it, it was freezing when I walked in my room (although I finally figured out how to put the heat on), the bed was slumped down on one side, and the closet was broken. I really enjoyed the kind staff, and the free parking is a great feature. It was also a very close drive to great restaurants.

Staff were efficient and friendly. Rooms, while dated, were very clean
Very expensive for such an old hotel with very few amenities, even though there was an event nearby. Our shower was also very small

The budget price for a Vancouver hotel is good though it may vary. Staff very willing to correct issues. Good public transit at front door. Able to open window.
Not very clean, saw lots of dust and an object under bed headset. Unable to control heat. No face cloth provided. One bedside lamp did not function. Even though staff were asked at check-in for a quiet room, base beats from downstairs club could still be heard. No AC outlet near bed for USB devices. Bring your own extension cord!

Very nice and friendly with a good location.
Events didn’t let us access the tiki bar/ brewery

The staff is very friendly.
Unfortunately, the surrounding area is very dangerous. Even though the hotel has an electronic key lock at the entrance, the parking lot is exposed. It’s not an area where I would go out at night.

The staff was excellent -- friendly, informative, and helpful for information about public transportation and other matters. By comparison with other hotels in Vancouver, the price was reasonable (thoough high by what we are used to in the US for a hotel of this level). The room was clean. It was easy to take public transportation bus to near the Canada Place cruise terminal.
Noise was VERY loud from music on a Thursday night from a restaurant/bar/club off the first floor lobby of the hotel. The next night, there was noise from music from the same source which was not as loud, but still wasannoying. I do not know if the loud music would be a problem on other nights. I could hear the TV sound from the next room though the wall.

Stunk of urine, Disappointed with booking.com’s recommendations. I should get a full refund
The location was horrendous, the room stunk of cigarettes and urine. It was a very uncomfortable state.

Nothing
The area, no lift, no air conditioning in our room (apparently we had booked a “youth traveller” room which had no air con!)
2.0 / 10.0
Staff were friendly
USBs in lamps
- stinking hot room, no air con
- no fly screen when opening window
- loud noises with window open
- bed uncomfortable
- no lift
- without a doubt the worst value for money

Friendly staff
I never ever had such an old and worn out mattress where the springs constantly screeched and were even completely crushed and not giving any support

Nothing! It was criminal they could even rent this room out! There was loud vibrating music from 10pm to 2.30am!! It was non refundable and if I had known I would never have booked it!! They said they may be a little noise and ear plugs could be supplied!! Absolute rip off! Just boycott this hotel!! Unless you want to hand over $300 for no sleep!!
Every thing!!! Loud night club, drug users right outside, long way from city centre! Cannot believe they are allowed to rent rooms out!!

Location was sketchy but was walking distance to a great area with lots of bars and restaurants and there was a bus stop right in front.
Homeless people everywhere. Loud at night. Tiki bar only open on weekends. Room was kinda gross, found stale French fries under my bed. TV didn’t work and was told they couldnt fix it and that there’s wasn’t another room for me to switch to.
4.0 / 10.0
The mattress was very used and sunken in the pelvis area causing me a back and neck ache and a very poor sleep! The smells of body odour were quite strong in the rooms.

It's loud until late. Band. Disco.

The bed was huge for two people and it was extremely comfy
The location is in a sketchy part of town.
We arrived 30 minutes early and were not permitted to check in. They did keep our luggage though. I had asked ahead of time but they did not respond until after I had left. It was very noisy with an event on downstairs. I don’t think this is good value for money.

Staff AMAZING. Shane too good for the place should be at Hilton or something he is super smart and really cares for his staff and customers. Mia the receptionist is a blessing warm and friendly and my bedding super clean the staff were the best part if the hotel.
The heating system is on constantly and not able to turn it down. This seems to be for most rooms apparently. The restaurant food was OK but a bit pricey compared to other local eat out places but decent food. Ask for quieter rooms if you can as 9n weekend the live music can be heard but my room was great.

Room was good clean comfortable position no great
Could not Allen before 2-30 am floor shock walls rattled shower base moved with told a private party an absolute te disgrace seeing I paid so much
Even more disappointed as a 3 Tier Genius client you would have such a high recommendation
The absolutely in desirable and frustrating noise and happenings left me an earth quake happening to 2-30 in the morning not a happy Genius 3 client feel I should receive some compensation especially after a 14 hr flight

The staff was helpful and made good recommendations for eating and sightseeing
Extremely tiny room with no elevator! All rooms require you to carry your suitcase up the stairs.. It is located in a seedy part of town. Confronted by aggressive homeless people.

Location. Bed, and constant noise from AC

I like how it's perfect for my trip. And miley staff in the morning is amazing. She is the reason I rather stay at this hotel than any other hotel. Kind people welcome guests to return :)
I didn't like the queen room was warm due to no ac but it was still perfect. I loveyhis hotel.

Not much
Does not have an elevator. Is in much need of updating. Dark halls and a musty smell. Not a good location for obtaining meals. Was listed as having a restaurant, but apparently out of order. TV tuned in only one channel...they tried to fix this but after they left, we could receive no TV channel at all. AC thermostat apparently does not work. We kept having to turn unit on and off to control temperature.

The hotel has a nice location seeing as it is within walking distance Little Italy and 1 short bus ride to the downtown core. It was nice having a room to myself, especially one facing away from the road. The staff were very helpful in answering questions about the city.
No AC could be a turnoff for some people, but I am used to sleeping in a very hot room. The room itself is very small, so be mindful when coming here with multiple people. There can be some noise early in the mornings as it is very close to the docks, but the only thing that really woke me up was the seagulls.

nothing to like to be totally honest.
Very noisy, it was above a night club, evn the beds are shaking from the loud music, old smelly rooms, shady people and location.. Parking was bad, you have to risk having to park at sides of the streets and hope nobody will smash your window!
