Wow, this place is a dream. The whole property is beautiful and perfect. The staff were incredible. Best massage of my life. Great pizza - the waiter at the italian restaurant made our day, he was wonderful.

My ONLY complaint is that there isn't an easy cold plunge near the outdoor sauna and hottubs. You can do the indoor sauna and have a cold shower, and that's great. And there is ocean access, but it is unlit and a bit far and scary. But overally, this place is practically perfect!

Everything you could want in a boutique hotel. So comfortable, clean, and luxurious! They knew it was our mini honeymoon stay so they upgraded our room and left us a sweet note and a bottle of champagne which was all an amazing surprise!

The heated mineral pools and the view are the show at this hotel, but the lobby lounge is so nice with fireplace and amazing views.

We stayed in a suite which was fantastic and well stocked but the sofa bed is small and not comfortable.

The food was fine but not great. Cold eggs. Our balcony faced the parking garage of the next building. I treated my family to their rooms for our son's wedding and I got the least desirable view.

Literally everything. The view, the pool, the amazing sauna with view and skylight. The food at both restaurants. The beautiful hotel lobby and rooms. Lovely bathtub with view. Truly wonderful property to celebrate our anniversary at.

Our one and only complaint. We were celebrating our 10 year anniversary and I wanted to surprise my husband with a couples massage. I was only able to book it for Monday, our check out day. I went to the front desk to ask first if there was much availability for Monday, to which the answer was yes, plenty. Then I asked if there was a lower room rate for a fully available weekday. The front desk clerk was unwilling to give a lower rate than we had paid on the weekend. As a result we had to cancel our spa services. From a business perspective, it seems they lost a lot of revenue by being unwilling to work with us on that. Still doesn't detract from our wonderful stay though.

The amazing views and fantastic pools! The staff was also kind helpful and conscientious. Heather the concierge was amazing and helped with finding a pharmacy and the valet gentleman were kind and gave great travel and direction suggestions!

The room itself was nice and the beds were comfortable, which was the highlight. Nespresso pods/machine a lovely touch. Cleaners are all very sweet and lovely, and the bathrooms are stocked with amenities. Great experience there.

On our first day, we went to the restaurant and waited 45–60 minutes for our food, despite the room being nearly empty. Our server disappeared — no offer of water, no follow-ups — and eventually we had to get up and find another staff member to bring our food, which by then was lukewarm. For the price, it felt especially disappointing. Food was underwhelming/overpriced. The pools were where the service fell short. On our first visit, no one greeted us, offered towels, or signed us in. Wet towels were left on the ground and it all felt understaffed. The next day, when I came with my guest and another person who was joining our trip that night before her medical procedure, the staff member on duty was overly intense and mildly accusatory about the check-in process, insinuating we were trying to cheat the system (to her credit, maybe this happens a lot, but we weren't those people. We were just trying to sit down and get our bearings with our sick friend). After spending almost $1,400 for two nights, I found this treatment to be frustrating. I explained that nobody had even spoken to us the day before, let alone signed us in, so we had no idea of this “protocol” she was now educating about (as in standing over us waiting for us to call the front desk to add our guest). The inconsistency between experiences was glaring and it felt incredibly unpleasant to arrive at a place of relaxation with that kind of intense, frenetic and accusatory energy. She did kind of apologize (more for the bad service the day before versus her behavior)but it left a bad taste in our mouth. After that, we tried to move past that unpleasant interaction and ordered food by the pool. While the waitress was lovely and attentive, the food itself was inferior — small, dry tacos and overpriced meals that took far too long to arrive. Again, not a luxury experience we'd expect at the price. That said the lady at our check out experience and the cleaning staff were all lovely and sweet.

Loved the large bathroom with separate shower, toilet, and large tub that could fit two. The bed pillows were super comfy and luxurious. I booked our room with 1 bar of service while doing the West Coast Trail based on the tub alone and did not expect, or know about the spa amenities that came with our stay - the warm mineral pool, jacuzzis, and saunas were amazing. Ate at the Snug Pub and the seafood pasta was very good. Staff were excellent and was able to accommodate a slightly earlier, 3pm check in. I like that checkout is also at 12pm which is later than most hotels. Wish we had more than one night. Saw 2 orcas while lounging by the pool!

We wish that the spa had a cold plunge option, especially post sauna or jacuzzi.

Fabulous hotel at the ocean in the wonderful small beach town Oak Bay (near a golf course) at just 15 minute drive from Victoria. The friendly personel and large rooms plus truly great pool at the ocean front made the best place for our family during our Canada trip.

The restaurant was excellent. The mineral pools are fabulous and right on the water. The valet staff were exceptional. It’s in a lovely neighborhood, great for walking.

The partial water view room was overlooking the flat ugly roof of the building next door. We upgraded to a suite ( we needed 2 beds) and there was only a king and the pull out couch was unusable so we had to share one bed.

Oak Bay Beach Hotel is a beautiful, peaceful getaway right on the ocean. The views are stunning, and the atmosphere is quiet and private—ideal for couples. The hot pools overlooking the water are a dream, and the staff make the experience feel truly personal. And don’t miss meeting Ella, the sweet hotel dog—she’s the heart of the place. Highly recommended for a relaxing, romantic escape.

While our stay at Oak Bay Beach Hotel was wonderful overall, the dining experience at the pub was a bit disappointing. The portion sizes were quite small for the price, and the tempura dish was overly salty.

Location is unbeatable for Victoria. Stunning. The building itself is beautiful and looks luxurious.

Pool area was very nice but a little cramped. Room is limited.

The hotel and pools are perfect! Staff is top notch.

We booked an ocean view balcony room and had mostly a view of the next door building roof. It was underwhelming and the balcony was maybe 13 inches wide.

the staff were very kind and the amenities were gorgeous and clean. Shoutout to Jocelyn and Nikayla at the poolside bar for being so friendly and making our experience comfortable!

The king size room with ocean view had a fabulous large bathroom with double sinks, shower, bath and separate toilet suite. The mineral pools were amazing and the spa treatments were excellent! Staff were very friendly and we felt very well looked after here.

The only comment we had was that there could have been a bigger gym/fitness centre with more equipment and gym classes.
