Prince of Wales

Lots of character, large room, some events at the hotel

Door opening towards toilet was awkward

location and the staff was accommodating when I told them my husband had a bad back and we would need the use of an elevator vs. stairs.

We were very disappointed in the food in the Noble restaurant for dinner but our server, Kathi, was excellent as well as the hostess.

This is a beautiful hotel, we thoroughly enjoyed staying and will come back.

We liked everything, although room prices are rather high

The location was excellent and it's a charming building.

The decor is tired, the public rooms were over-air-conditioned, and no one was at the front desk when it was time to leave, even though we explicitly told the desk at check-in that we needed to leave at 5 am. We called down to get our car from the valet (no answer) and then came downstairs to get help but no one was there for the 10 minutes we waited. We eventually were forced to rummage through the front desk looking for our car keys and ultimately found them in the bellhop's closet, which was unlocked and had all of the valet-parked car keys hanging on a wall.
