It was quite easy to find and very close to the beach. It has a pool on site and several other facilities. We didn’t have breakfast but were told it’s a buffet for €8 per person. The room we had was on the 4th floor and had a bit of a balcony, but with a high wall so had to stand to see the sea. Room was large and spacious as was the bathroom. Bathroom is updated and had a spa bath/shower with extra jets in the shower as well. Plenty of cupboard space. Several restaurants nearby. The gentleman on the front desk was lovely.
You could say it’s quaint or needs an update. It’s a non smoking hotel however our room smelt of smoke or something so we left the door to the balcony open all night.
No safe in the room.
We asked for parking and were given 3 options : free on street with a permit (this ended up being on street in front of the hotel but it’s a very narrow street so a bit dangerous and not guaranteed), €10 nearby in a private open area next to the hotel (this was in front of the hotel in the building across spare spot as the building is now derelict ), or €12 in a private garage 200m away. €10 to use a spot in a derelict building is a bit much. But as the hotel is in a restricted area you need a permit to park or get a fine.
Note there is an elevator but from street level to reception there are steps.

The traditional feel of the hotel and careful maintenance of a beautiful building. The location is perfect for the beach. Our multiple views from our room were the up there with the best we’ve ever had.
A later breakfast would have suited us better.

Boutique hotel, small, not crowdy
As I travel a lot, staying in various 3 to 5 stars hotels, I can assess this hotel should NOT be advertised as a 5* facility. It used to be exclusive 35 years ago, but for current standards it should be improved. What
