It was quite central and we had a nice view from our room

The communal bathroom wasn’t very clean. I saw a dying cockroach there and it was laying there overnight. I removed it the next day. The room is quite small

Location is great. And the view of the river from my room was great. Honestly the room had everything you need in a basic room. No a/c but the fan was ok. Of course the place could use an upgrade, but it was good enough and clean. Like other people have said, the toilet does smell bad but you just keep the lid down and it reduces the sewage smell. And also like other people said, there is no elevator, so your legs get a workout when you’re coming and going a lot throughout the day, but it’s a really old building so you wouldn’t expect an elevator anyways. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised by the room after reading so many bad reviews.

The location was perfect, close to bars, restaurants, buses and trains station, loads of storage space. Good value for money for the location.

Despite of being in a quiet street, we could hear the streets around when the window was open, we had to sleep with the windows closed, the heat would ease during the evenings, so the fan was enough, but I think it wouldn't be enough for end of June to mid August. All the doors have codes, but guests would slam the doors every time they closed them, so the noise would come from inside the building.

Accommodation really only entails the basics. However, the location is good and can serve a purpose if you don't spend much time there. Cheap, budget accommodation

There was an unpleasant smell during the stay. One of the toilets didn't work on our floor. Wifi was poor. The room is very small, there is no place to put your luggage, very cramped, but our friend's rooms on the third floor were a bit more spacious.
