The location was excellent for us, as others have said the stairs are a bit of a trudge on a hot day but easily done for us (ages 19 to 54) and the view was better for it. The outside areas and pool were better than i expected and we relaxed under the umbrella on the top deck very happily. We didn't use the barbecue or even the kitchen except for breakfast but it looked well equipped and there were enough glasses and coffee mugs for us. We enjoyed the walk down to beach Kljucice, through the trees and ultra quick and the restaurant there was great for us, we ate there twice. Cavtat itself is a really great destination, easy to get the boat trip to surrounding islands or an Uber, boat or bus to Dubrovnik. I would visit both Cavtat and Villa Margarita again.
Just to clarify for others, this property has two shower rooms, one downstairs and one upstairs. When we booked the listing on B.com said only 1 bathroom and we nearly didn't book because of this, however, the pictures indicated two so i went to another well known site for clarification first.
The lounge area felt a bit dark. To be fair we didn't sit there much but one night we fancied a movie and and the four of us couldn't sit comfortably, the wardrobe and luggage rack felt bulky. This wouldn't stop us from booking again though.

Brilliant location only 5 minutes to the sea, restaurants & bars, house had everything we needed, it was clean and tidy, the air conditioning was very efficient and the small pool was perfect when we were there with temperatures in the 30s
Ida who managed the property was very helpful and efficient, arranged the taxi to and from the airport only 15 minutes away
We all loved Cavtat and the boat trip to Dubrovnik was great fun and bus 10 to there too was on time, cheap and air conditioned
A fantastic holiday in a wonderful villa and town
