It was OK, the location was great for the beach area and near the bus stop into town.
Although the Details mentioned a tumble dryer it didn’t have one, the place was missing some small things, Toilet roll holder, towel hooks in the bathroom, oven gloves, kitchen scissors. Small things! I contacted the owner but they never answered.

Friendly, helpful, informative email from hosts before arriving; lovely welcome and instructons on the keys to main block and apartment; recommendations for food whilst in Ayr.
Its a small thing, but I would put a floor standing toilet roll holder where the waste bin is and put the wastebin under the wash hand basin in the bathroom. Awkward to reach round behind to get toilet roll off the cistern.

The location was perfect being only a minute from the beach. The accommodation was well proportioned and comfortable.
The lock on the external door to the building was quite difficult to use, although not through any fault of the property owner who has requested its repair.

The location of the apartment was excellent. We were just a couple of minutes walk from the beach and walking distance from the main shopping area.
I felt the cleanliness of the shower area could have been better. Also the hosts were difficult to get in touch with prior to arrival.
