Standard and cleanliness of apartment was not acceptable. Also there was an intense smell to the apartment that was not pleasant. Wasn’t able to open bedroom window nailed shut.

Location. Security

Sparse kitchen utensils. Bathroom radiator not working. Painfully thin bedroom curtains. Dirty windows . Light bulb out in kitchen . On street parking. Cooker legend non existent can't tell what's being switched on . Tired.

Lovely flat

Cosy, nice furnishings and decor, clean and comfortable flat convenient for local ammenities, tourist attractions and meeting up with family and friends. Host helpful. Would consider staying again if feedback is addressed.

As some guests have already highlighted and as I did to the owner there are a few areas could benefit from attention. Kitchen utensils, pots, and pans were quite worn, and the crockery was mismatched—updating these would improve the experience. Bedding (pillows and duvet) felt basic and could be more comfortable. Safety-wise, a shower mat and fixed grab rails would help, especially with the deep step into the shower. Cupboard in hallway needs tidying. Some thoughtful touches—like softer loo roll (not cheap stuff), a few extra rolls, and a small welcome food pack and shower gel with local products—would go a long way. There were cosmetic issues too, such as brown marks on the bathroom edging of panelling that could do with a paint touch-up. Guests pay a premium to stay, and a little investment in quality and personal touches would make a real difference.

Smashing wee apartment, home from home .

The apartment was lovely very clean and modern and had everything we needed , great location for beach and town centre and great our dog was allowed to stay, we would definitely stay here again as it's a very quiet area also we slept amazing well .

Great little gem ov a place

The flat was perfect lovely retro deco so quaint,but so nice bed was so comfortable took the name of matress want one for my bed 🤣🤣 location was a short stroll along beach front from pavilion perfect we place to stay everything you need and more so straight forward from start to finish will recommend to friends thanks so much.

The cold weather but what you expect from scotland can't fault the place at all everyone so nice round about saying good morning.

Booked flat for my mum and aunt to get away for a few night break. She wanted a little home from home by the sea within walking distance. The flat was in a good location and the added bonus was the shop below.

We had a very pleasant stay and was a good base for the purpose of our holiday.

The property was very close to the town and a two minute walk to the beautiful beach. The property was of good size for two adults and one child. Lots of available parking.

The location of the appt made the stay exceptional but I felt the cleanliness could have been better

The location of the apartment was excellent. We were just a couple of minutes walk from the beach and walking distance from the main shopping area.

I felt the cleanliness of the shower area could have been better. Also the hosts were difficult to get in touch with prior to arrival.

Location central to where we needed to be. Easy check in, with good communication from host prior to our stay. Nice decor with lovely big t.v in living room area.

Just a note for reference and hasn't hindered us staying again as already booked again for Aug. Needed to wipe down kitchen worktops and fridge with some remnants of stains possible from last guests. We needed to use the sofa bed and couldn't at first locate the extra bedding. Was in the cupboard but not.on shelf, chucked at the back of cupboard on floor on top of the hoover. maybe be best place in the big wardrobe in bedroom for easier location and cleanliness 😁

Perfect pad

Perfect location. Brilliantly big comfy sofa bed, which is also perfect for watching the lovely big tv. Very comfy bed and sofa bed. It has everything you need, tea, coffee etc. Cleaning stuff. Lovely and cozy and clean. It's now our favourite place to stay in Ayr. Lots of lovely restaurants nearby and great coffee shops, including places for dog owners. We will be back again soon.

Loved the overall layout of the flat and the location it was a five minute walk from the town centre and the same to the beach. It was very stylish and well equipped and the owner was really helpful.

The lock on the front door didn't seem all that secure, although the outside door is always locked.

Perfect location for the town centre and the beautiful beach, especially for taking long dog walks on the beach. My dog's favourite place too. The flat is perfect, very comfortable and the sofa bed was perfect for snuggling up to watch tv after a long day of walking the dog at the beach. Lovely big tv and room size. Lots of our favourite restaurants and cafes in Ayr. Lovely and quiet area. Felt very safe. We will definitely be back!! Thanks!

Comfortable, fully equipped, location

We loved our stay here. We only wish it could have been longer. Picking up the keys from the shop located nearby was easy. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed. Nicely decorated and comfortable. Met our needs for the weekend. Instructions given for key pick up and check out were clear and we had no issues with wifi connection. Great base for easy access to ayr to the beach and meals out at night. Wish I knew on day one that the cafe just across from the apartment did breakfast rolls, coffee and ice cream. We learned this for day 2 though. Thanks for the lovely stay.

The apartment next-door has a ring doorbell that I felt would be able to monitor our coming and going. Although I completely understand why they may have it. Having a ring doorbell at home myself I understand what can be captured with it. It did make me feel slightly uncomfortable leaving and entering the apartment given the confined space. Although wouldn’t stop me booking again.

Nice apartment Good location.Issue on arrival in that due to error changeover cleaning had been missed but on emailing owner this was immediately rectified to our satisfaction .Mistakes happen but it’s how they are dealt with that I feel is most important.
