Apartment was mostly clean with a few exceptions. Close proximity to town and beds were comfortable. Had good facilities for cooking and overall apartment was nice.
Firstly check in was complex and not very well explained. You had to pay a security waiver which is normal on rentals but it wasn't explained I did ask. Check in details were only given once this was paid which led to a lot of confusion and stress as i was travelling. You have to go some distance away to collect keys ok if you have a car and are familiar with the town. I hate to think what it would have been like for someone elderly or with mobility issues and no transport. The other issue was balcony had nesting birds but looked like it had nit been cleaned in a very very long time. Pigeon poo is hazardous if left believe may lead to property being enviromentally unsafe to health. You certainly would not have been able to open the door to balcony for fresh air or to step out . My friend also had a bathroom fan fall on her in the ensuite and noise coming from this through the night. I also explained the stress on check in and the staff member i feel was condesending and rude . Gabbi was her name. I did ask if deposit needed to be paid with no response prior to check in . She then was rude when i explained it was not made clear. Be up front re deposit and complex check in please . Too many links over complex process think about elderly or those with no transport or who don't know the area.

Good communication from the hosts by email and the completion of 'boarding pass' information gave useful webpage outlining all the information on access and facilities. Also they courtesy called for updates. Spacious rooms, clean & tidy. Second TV in bedroom, handy for kids. Quiet location on seafront with easy walk to town centre and next to a leisure centre. Large bath towels!
The sofa in the lounge is also a sofa bed so wasn't very comfy for just sitting on (ok as a bed). Some minor niggles with worn out items e.g. window blind cords, extract fan, couple of chipped crockery items, sticking window.

Beds uncomfortable,needs a bit of TLC in decor!
On arrival at key nest,could not access key!agter 2 or 3 phone calls,had to wait for key to be delivered by hand!
Not enough towels!

It was central position , close to amenities. The property was sparse but adequate .
Too many things were broken iefridge shelving , bedroom blinds , sitting room sofa etc. glassware poor in quality and inadequate supply. Overall the property had a “ tired” feel.
