Bed was super comfortable and spacious,great we place to have a drink in the balcony host even gave us a courtesy call just to make sure everything was ok I thought that was nice.

Nothing really apart from the door Yale lock was tricky I think it might need tightened

The apartment has some great features but the owners failed to rectify issues with the boiler and lack of eating utensil

Beautiful location with a great view. Beautifully appointed apartment with tasteful decor and modern appliances.

There was no heating or hot water for the three nights we spent there and there was no cutlery, despite the booking.com page selling it as having a full kitchen. It had everything we needed to cook meals but no knives forks or spoons to eat them with. The lack of hot water meant we were unable to shower for three days! The evening we arrived we informed the owner and they promised to rectify the problems, but nothing was done.

Amazing newly refurbished property

Absolutely loved my stay at Harbour House! It has been completely refurbished and everything has been done to perfection. The brand new kitchen is stunning and the bathroom is beautiful - both are full of modern touches and great quality finishes. The attention to detail is impressive. On top of that the location and views make the stay even more special and I can’t wait to book again for my next trip to Ayr to see family. A huge thank you to the Donnini team for providing such a fantastic stay! Highly recommend.

Not the flat , that you want to rent.

The location.

The flat was filthy, not hovered in any room. There was public hair in the bath. The carpets had paint stains and an iron mark on the living room carpet. The sofa had stains on it that looked like sperms. The dinning room tables leg was loose and had to put paper under it in order to balance it . I contacted the companies office and they said that it had supposed to have had thorough clean before . The kitchen pans also had food stains also . I said that myself and partner would clean the flat as we arrived on the 23rd of December and asked for some compensation. They said that they would review that after Christmas and get back to us. No contact as of yet . The company that owns the property. Need to have a look at these comments and take ownership. As this is a poor business model and the bed is so uncomfortable as they have supplied to very cheap single mattresses.

I booked last minute. The weather was fab and I wanted to sit outside and enjoy. The balcony was perfect for me. Beautiful view. I got the sun until 9 pm on both nights.

Repairs done quickly. Location great. Flat nicely furnished (after we rejigged the layout 🤣). Great view of Arran (weather permitting 🤣🤣)

Heating timer wasn't set to the right time so heating went on at odd times. 2 big cobwebs. Torn bed linen and duvet. Broken curtain rail (replaced 2nd day). Broken sofa bed (replaced 2nd day). Someone kept leaving the latch down on the building's front door.

Harbour View

Location - convenient to Ayr town centre but very quiet. View: lovely view out over the River Ayr.

Lots of minor details/ annoyances which require attention eg no teapot or coffe pot, problems with keybox, no side table in living area. I have informed the host in writing of these, but after three week, have still to receive acknowledgement.

Lovely Ayr apartment.

The apartment was exceptionally neat and clean. The balcony was really good and has a great view over the Ayr River. The amenities in the kitchen were first class. As also the bathroom and shower, though there was some black around the bath which could have been sorted.

The apartment was excellent , however a wee bit far away from shops etc, which, as public transport users, wasn't as handy for us.

It was very easy to get to very convenient for town centre. Very quiet area.

We felt the bathroom was a bit tired and drab the glass dining table top was unsafe. Needing cushions on the sofa to make it more comfortable.
