About this house rental
Back by popular demand Soaring Eagle has returned to the Vacation Rental Program in luxurious and gated Smoky Mountain Retreat. Enjoy the convenience of a flat driveway for easy access to this lovely cabin. The bedrooms and bathrooms are split among the three levels offering a private retreat for all. The lower den includes a convenient kitchenette for a separate couple. The outdoor space includes two levels of covered and open decks, hot tub, fire-pit, and magnificent views from every level. (3500 ft. elevation). 5 flat screen HDTV TV’s and DVR, Wireless High-Speed Internet, Stone gas Fireplace, outside firepit. Full size Washer/Dryer, Dishwasher, Central Heat & Air, Covered & Uncovered Porches. Garage not available. Hot Tub.
Main Floor: Living Room (gas fireplace), HD TV. Dining Room, Fully equipped Kitchen, keurig coffee maker, Master Bedroom with Queen size bed & full bath w/Jacuzzi tub, Laundry Room. Covered and uncovered porch with picnic table, grill, rockers, glider and chaise lounge.
Upstairs: Large Bedroom with King size bed & full bath en suite, Sitting Area interior to bedroom with flat screen HD TV, loft with desk and couch.
Downstairs: Executive Suite. 3rd bedroom with Queen size bed & full bath en suite, flat screen HD TV, Living Room with flat screen HD TV, gas stove, kitchen with microwave, bistro table & chairs, Covered Porch with rockers & chaise lounge. Small landscaped yard with firepit and Adirondack chairs. Game room with pool table, air hockey, darts, and ping pong table.
3 Night Minimum Stay
5 Night Minimum Stay for Holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year).
January- December
$285 nightly rate
11% tax will be applied to rent
Optional 6.5% Trip Insurance will be applied to rent.
The Damage Protection of $50 is a required item that will be added to the reservation.

Firewood Notice: Not all wood burning fireplaces will provide firewood at the property. We can have firewood delivered to the property per request.
Tenants with motorcycles and trailers, please note:
The Eagles nest subdivision does not permit motorcycles or trailers on the mountain. However, they can be left at our rental and sales center parking lot. For any questions or concerns please contact us.

We recently returned from our stay at Soaring Eagle cabin which we rented through Smoky Mountain Retreat. The cabin is located so that its porches reveal the valley below providing a beautiful view from this mountain overlook. The cabin was clean, well appointed and ready for our move-in as promised. Staff at Smokey Mountain Retreat were friendly and fun. We will definitely be back.

After a very challenging journey to Maggie Valley we were involved in a traffic accident and our vehicle was towed undriveable. We had to Uber from Asheville to the cabin and got there late. Having no food we called the non-emergency phone number for Smokey Mountain Realty. This was for information on the restaurant that may deliver and approval to give gate code number. The gentleman that answered said that Papa Johns Pizza was the only delivery in our area and gave the offer to bring food if they would not. We did get a pizza delivered. But the next day being Sunday the car rental company did not open until 1:00pm and only one enterprise was open on Sunday. Once again had to get uber from Asheville and might I note very expensive. Maggie Valley and Waynesville does not offer Uber service at this time. After getting a vehicle back to the cabin and picking up my wife who just had foot surgery. We were able to get some food for our stay. The cabin was very beautiful and sadly it was distracting with no vehicle being over 600 miles from home. Everything at the cabin was very nicely decorated and we enjoyed the cabin. Wonderful place to enjoy a family or group vacation. Each floor allows you to have privacy with bedroom and bathroom. As it looked like things were settling down we had decided that it was best to leave early and start our journey back home. We decided to load the rental car inside the garage because of it raining. After loading this very small vehicle with things I had in my full size wreaked vehicle from the body shop. When we came out to leave the driveway was now blocked by a white car right in the center and we are now unable to leave. Unable to drive around because only enough room for one vehicle. I blew the horn and no one answered for approximately 15-30 minutes. I called the non-emergency number and gentleman said he was five minutes out on property and on his way. After a timely wait exceeding five minutes, I called again!
