The space:
Creek 'n WOODS IV is a spacious 3 story, 2,582 square foot log cabin with plenty of room for multiple family members to enjoy the views of the Smoky Mountains. Wonderful lite decks with café lights make our outdoor spaces feel VERY SPECIAL, and it is!!!!! Decks face the west side which means you can expect beautiful sunsets!
Lower level: Garage, Family room, TV, Sleeper Sofa for 2, Books/Puzzles, Kind bedroom with TV/DVD and electric fireplace in bedroom. Full bathroom with shower/tub combination.
Main Level: King Bedroom with door leading to the deck, TV, Full Bath with bathtub/stand up shower/ double sinks. Laundry Room, Half Bath, Living Room (Gas Fireplace), Flat Screen TV/DVD, Dining Room (seating for 14), Stocked Kitchen with utensils, pots & pans, toaster, blender, crock pot, food processor, and stocked cabinet with spices.
Upper Level: Loft with sleeper sofa for 2, checker/game table, Queen bedroom with TV/DVD. Shared full bathroom with separate toilet/shower room with the double twin bedroom, TV/DVD.
Rates:
3 nights minimum required:
January – June, August, September (Holidays Excluded) $324
July, October, November and December (Holiday Excluded) $360
7 nights minimum required:
Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year $2520 per week
11% tax will be applied to rent
The Damage Protection of $50 is a required item that will be added to the reservation.
Optional 6.5% Trip Insurance will be applied to rent
50% Deposit Required for Reservations, other half due two weeks prior to the arrival.
$100 Hot Tub Fee **We do not provide towels for hot tub**
$50 Damage Protection Plan
$65 Reservation Fee (plus tax)
$300 Cleaning fee
Pets: Dogs are allowed with a $125 fee, please let the office know if you are planning to travel with a dog.
The Smoky Mountain Retreat at Eagle’s Nest subdivision does not permit motorcycles or trailers on the mountain.

The cabin was in the perfect location. We had no thru traffic being at the top. We spent more time on the porch than inside enjoying the views & cooler weather. We have stayed in many cabins over the years & it was one of the cleanest ones. Loved the area. The playground down the road was nice and well maintained. So peaceful at the cabin. We loved that is was close to Maggie Valley & Waynesville.

The view of this home is breathtaking. However, the driveway is VERY steep. We drive an F-150 and struggled to get up the steep driveway. Our wheels spun out every time. One day we had some rain and it was extremely challenging to make it up the driveway to the home.
The home is a bit older. The upstairs bathroom has mold along the top of the walls- so I would caution anyone with allergies. Also, the home does not include bath mats. The flooring is tile and very slippery, I would advise to bring extra towels so that you can leave some on the floors.
If you like to cook, there are pots and pans. There is not bakeware for baking- so bring that yourself. Also, there are not serving dishes- so be prepared to have everyone make their plates at the oven/stove.
All of the beds in the home are extremely hard. If you are used to a softer mattress or a foam type mattress you will not sleep well here. Even my 6 year old complained (without anyone discussing the beds).
The grill was a great asset. As was the washer and dryer. The hot tub was very nice and has a beautiful view from the bottom level with a sweet waterfall that you can turn on in the side yard. As we were leaving someone came to empty, clean, and refill the hot tub. He let us know he does this after each group that comes through- which was also great.
