When we first found this house, we instantly fell in love with its distinct mid-century soul. It features **treasured mid-century shadow block masonry**—a classic architectural feature that defines the vintage character of the Coachella Valley. It has become somewhat rare, but has gratefully preserved on some of the homes on our street. Built with solid concrete block construction, the home offers a peaceful, cozy indoor retreat. Architectural clerestory windows in the guest bedrooms filter soft, subtle light while preserving privacy. Outdoors, quintessential desert palm trees sway overhead while you relax around the pool.
We upgraded this home not as a transactional investment, but as our very own desert sanctuary and future retirement retreat. Every detail—from the retro-modern furnishings and electrified fireplace to the plush mattresses, Roku TVs in every room, Primary Suite work desk, propane grill with attached workspace, and protective screened-in patio—was chosen with deep care, intention, and love.

The outdoor space is where we spend hours relaxing when we’re here. It’s a peaceful outdoor area surrounded by quintessential desert palm trees in the neighborhood, designed specifically for easy outdoor entertaining, social dining, and family peace of mind.
Screened-In Patio & Child Security: Glass doors from the home open directly into a spacious, fully screened-in patio before stepping out to the pool deck. This screened area does double duty as a comfortable, shaded, bug-free outdoor lounge AND an invaluable extra security barrier for families traveling with young children.
Patio Al Fresco Dining: A second full family dining table is located right inside the screened-in patio, alongside a continuous misting system to keep al fresco meals comfortable on warm afternoons.
Private Unheated Pool: Enjoy our private pool featuring a proper deep end for swimming, floating loungers for sunbathing, and professional maintenance twice a week to keep it sparkling clean and ready for your stay.
Propane Grill & Attached Workspace: Located just outside the patio, featuring a propane gas grill with an attached prep table/workspace for easy al fresco outdoor BBQing.
