Our vacation home in Adelegg
With this house, we’ve made a little dream of ours come true. We use it privately for most of the year and deliberately make it available to vacation guests for only about two months a year. This way, others can enjoy this special place too—and at the same time, renting it out helps us maintain a house of this caliber with all its amenities.
The vacation home is situated in a beautiful, secluded location in Adelegg and is accessible via a private driveway. Although there are two neighboring houses nearby, the property itself opens up completely onto the landscape on two sides. From the front, you can enjoy an unobstructed view across the valley all the way to the Allgäu mountains. The location is characterized by plenty of peace and quiet, abundant nature, and pleasant privacy.
The heart of the house is the large kitchen-dining-living area with a cozy tiled stove. This is where guests cook, eat, gather, and end the day together. There is also a spacious living room in the Allgäu farmhouse style. We renovated the house with great attention to detail and high-quality materials. It was important to us to preserve the character of the house while creating a high level of living comfort.
With two bathrooms, a private bar, and plenty of space throughout the house, it offers ample room for families or friends—both for spending time together and for some quiet time alone.
The house includes more than 2,000 square meters of garden with a barbecue area, a trampoline, and a hot tub. It’s especially outdoors that you realize what makes this place so special: open spaces, tranquility, and the view of the countryside.
If you enjoy being active, you can practically start right at your doorstep. The Adelegg offers plenty of opportunities for hiking, mountain biking, and cycling. The golf course is only about 200 meters from the property, and there are also numerous lakes and attractions in the Allgäu region.
Since we ourselves love being here, we don’t want the house to feel like a typical vacation rental to our guests. It’s a home that we share with others for a few weeks each year, complete with everything that makes this place so special to us.
