About this cabin rental

Set within 160 acres of Caplor Farm near Fownhope, Scotch Pine is a secluded glamping pod for two in the Herefordshire countryside. Surrounded by mature trees and natural cottage-style planting, it is a peaceful, pet-friendly Wye Valley retreat for couples who want to relax, reconnect and enjoy the outdoors.

A characterful wooden bridge with rustic rope detailing leads across the pond to the pod, while the gentle sound of the nearby waterfall adds to the tranquil atmosphere. Inside, the cosy open-plan layout includes a comfortable double bed and private en-suite bathroom, providing everything needed for an easy and relaxing stay.

The compact kitchenette has a hob, microwave, toaster and kettle, making it simple to prepare breakfast, light meals and evening snacks. There is no Wi-Fi, creating the perfect opportunity to switch off and enjoy a slower pace.

Outside, private decking and seating offer a peaceful place for morning coffee, alfresco dining or an evening beneath the stars. A barbecue and firepit are provided for outdoor cooking and cosy evenings together. The outdoor area is private but not fully enclosed, and on-site parking is available.

The renowned Wye Valley Walk passes directly through Caplor Farm, so scenic countryside walks begin on the doorstep. The River Wye is nearby, while picturesque villages, traditional country pubs and local attractions are within easy reach.

Up to two well-behaved dogs are welcome, making Scotch Pine a lovely choice for couples travelling with four-legged companions. Dogs must be kept on leads around the wider working farm, not left unattended or allowed on soft furnishings, and owners are asked to clean up after them.

Choose Scotch Pine for its secluded setting, distinctive bridge and pond, soothing waterfall sounds and convenient self-catering facilities. It combines the character of rural glamping with the comfort of a private en-suite, creating a memorable base for exploring Herefordshire and the Wye Valley.
