Easy to find but a nicely isolated location. Lovely views. Private garden.
The shower stopped running hot water when the bath was being run at the same time. Not a problem if we had been warned.

We had a lovely time staying at Woodlands Cottage. It is a beautiful well equipped house to stay in for our 4 night February break. Spotlessly clean with good quality furniture and fittings. Very comfortable and the garden was just coming into buds-lovely. !The location was central to our plans and we were very satisfied

The location is beautiful; very rural, quiet and pretty. The property is nicely appointed. We particularly liked the gas fireplace in the lounge which looked good and made the room cosy as we were staying in on a slightly chilly August night! Comfortable double bed with really nice and very effective wooden shutters on the windows. Generously sized twin room was unexpected bonus as children can often be a bit squashed in! Great size kitchen too.
An OS map would have been handy as we weren't able to easily plan a circular walk. Also (not under any control of the property owners obviously) but if you do want to walk you have to brave the verge on a pretty busy road to reach a public foot path which might be a challenge with little ones.

The oven was the dirtiest we have ever had at a vacation property, The bin was dirty. Nurmerous cobwebs. Some utensils/crockery/pans required cleaning before we could use them.
The shower needed fixing as there was no hot water coming from it, although this was dealt with swiftly when reported.
