Experience true Lapland living in this unique 57 m² log studio, set in a peaceful birch forest in the village of Sinettä, about 20 minutes from Rovaniemi. This is more than a place to sleep: it`s a full Arctic wellness experience, with a traditional sauna, an ice-cold plunge pool, a salt room and a kota hut with a crackling fire, all under skies where the Northern Lights dance on clear winter nights.
The studio has warm log walls, soft ambient lighting and large windows looking out into the forest. A 150 cm wall bed folds out at night and turns back into a sofa by day, and a floor mattress is available for a child, so the studio sleeps up to three. The kitchen has everything you need for self-catering, and the dining table looks out over the snowy landscape. A laundry room with a washing machine and tumble dryer makes longer stays easy.
The heart of the experience is the large log sauna with a long panoramic window onto the birch forest, available for one session each evening. Between rounds, step outside for a refreshing dip in the cold plunge pool, which stays open all winter. For something truly special, you can book the salt room for €30. It`s a calm, white space where you can relax on lounge chairs and breathe in the mineral-rich air.
In the evening, light a fire in the traditional kota hut and roast sausages under the stars. The yard is far from city lights, which makes it an excellent spot to watch the Northern Lights right outside your door.
WiFi and TV are included, linens and towels are provided, and parking is available in the yard. The owners live on the same property and are happy to help if you need anything. A grocery store is just 300 m away. Rovaniemi city centre is about 20 km away (around 20 minutes by car), and Santa Claus Village and Rovaniemi Airport are 28 km.
Please note: for your safety, guests must not go onto the river at any time of year, including in winter. The ice is not safe.
