Spend the morning swimming from the gradual, sandy shoreline, launch a kayak or canoe, relax on the beach, or enjoy the lake from your private dock. Two underwater moorings provide added convenience for boaters, and a public boat launch and Rivett’s Marina are less than a mile away.

One of the best parts of Harts Content is the location. Enjoy the privacy of your own Fourth Lake waterfront retreat while still being within walking distance of Eagle Bay restaurants, bars, ice cream and local shops. Leave the car at the cabin and walk into Eagle Bay for dinner, drinks or an ice cream after a day on the lake.

When you’re ready to explore farther, Inlet and Old Forge are just a short drive away, putting grocery stores, restaurants, bars, coffee shops, shopping and Adirondack outfitters within easy reach.

Harts Content has been completely renovated to provide the comforts of a modern vacation home while preserving the character and warmth of our family’s Adirondack cabin.

The home sleeps up to 10 guests with three upstairs bedrooms, each with a queen bed, plus two queen sleeper sofas in the living room. All bed linens and bath towels are provided.

For even more space to spread out, Harts Content also offers a bonus bunk room with its own Smart TV and vintage video gaming system. It’s a fun additional hangout space for guests to relax, watch a movie or enjoy some old-school gaming after a day on the lake.

There are two full bathrooms, both with walk-in showers. One is conveniently located on the main floor, while the second is upstairs near the bedrooms and features a double-sink vanity.

The fully equipped kitchen includes stainless steel appliances, a gas range, full-size refrigerator/freezer, two beverage refrigerators, microwave, Keurig and drip coffee makers, toaster, blender, Crock-Pot, cookware, dishes and utensils. A filtered water bottle-filling station makes it easy to fill your bottles before heading out for a day on the lake or trails.

Modern comforts include central heating and air conditioning, Wi-Fi, Spectrum cable, Smart TVs, a gas fireplace, washer and dryer, and a whole-house generator.

Outside is where Harts Content truly shines. Enjoy 80 feet of Fourth Lake shoreline, a private sandy beach, private dock, canoe, two kayaks, lakeside fire pit with Adirondack chairs, pergola with three bench swings, lounge chairs, umbrellas, picnic table, gas grill and cornhole.
