About this house rental
This 4000 sq ft Victorian has 3 bathrooms and 6 large bedrooms plus a den on the first floor with a queen size sleeper sofa. There are enough beds for 15 people. There is a 24'x24' private dock for swimming, and boating. There are also kayaks and a paddle board for your use. With a long circular driveway there is plenty of room for parking, and ample room for maneuvering your trailer. Enjoying making meals in the spacious kitchen or grilling up a feast on the 6 burner propane grill. Then sit down for a picnic outside at the picnic table or inside at the large dining room table. We are located within walking distance to the village of Old Forge. We also have Roku on 3 televisions in the house. Most TVs, and Blu-Ray players are also set up with Netflix, HBOGo, Vudu, Hulu, and Amazon Prime. Free Wifi is on premises and covers the house well.
For winter activities, we are located within 3 miles of McCauley Mt for skiing, within 5 miles of snowshoe and cross-country ski trails at Fern Park, within .25 miles of Trail 5 for snowmobiling and gas fill up. There is a large
garage that can store plenty of sleds, and with a long circular driveway there is plenty of room for parking, and ample room for maneuvering your trailer. . Walk out your door, hop on your sled and enjoy over 380 groomed miles of the Central Adirondack Trails!
*Please note that an all wheel drive or 4 wheel drive vehicle is HIGHLY recommended in Old Forge during winter.

What an amazing place to stay with our family. The property is truly incredible inside and outside. The outdoors area was great for hanging out and fishing from the dock, making smores at the firepit and the kida loved the play set. The inside was so full of charm. The large playroom with lots of games was a hit with kids and adults. Kitchen was well stocked with so many appliances, cooking utensils and dishes. The place was very clean. Interactios with the owner were quick and informative. Great customer service. I highly recommend this home.

It was great. We are somewhat biased as this was our past family home so we already knew what to expect for the most part. There have been some great renovations to attic which is now a great getaway for kids of all ages in the game room. We made use of the kayaks and fire pit often. The location is perfect for getting to town using the trail along the lake. The large dock is perfect for sitting, swimming, fishing, and boating. The whole family loved creating new memories as well as remembering all the old times we had spent there growing up. We hope to come back again. Thank you!!

Our family ranged in ages 8-80 and all of us had an amazing time! Fishing, paddle boarding, and kayaking was everyone’s favorite past time. The huge dock accommodated all of us. It was especially nice having Old Forge literally right around the corner. The beautiful house was enormous with plenty of room for everyone. This was one of our favorite vacations!

The house was AMAZING! It was so nice to escape the chaos of the normal day to day. It was close enough to the town that we could run and grab a few things if needed, but was far enough away that it was quiet and relaxing. The rooms are all large and there was definitely enough space to comfortably sleep all. The kids loved the game room upstairs! The private dock was nice for fishing and the fire pit was great for the evenings. All in all and excellent stay in a beautiful house!
