Fougere Seminyak

The quiet, secluded atmosphere was beautiful, with a gorgeous pool and swim-up bar. My pool-view room had a lovely balcony, wonderfully soft bed, effective AC, blackout curtains, and plenty of storage. The bathroom felt luxurious, and the shower stayed properly hot. Housekeeping was excellent. The tiled floor was mopped daily, towels and essentials were replenished consistently, and the linens smelled incredibly fresh. Bottled water, tea, and coffee were provided, and the Wi-Fi worked well for laptop use. Breakfast was delicious, especially the sourdough, eggs, extra-crispy bacon, and fresh orange juice. Staff remembered my preferences, and the bartenders were friendly and welcoming. I felt comfortable as a solo traveler, including returning after dark, and appreciated the 24-hour security. I extended my original booking directly with the hotel several times, and staff let me keep the same room. Excellent value and somewhere I would absolutely return to.

Nothing about the hotel itself needed improving for me. The tucked-away location is worth considering: vehicle routes to the main areas can feel indirect. I did find a back walking route into a busier part of Seminyak that took around 30 minutes. For me, the peace and seclusion were worth that tradeoff.

The property was pristine very very clean. The staff are wonderful.🥰

If you were looking for more private space, entertaining people you don’t really have your own private area and they are quite strict on noise
