HOUSE MONACHILE 32 n36

This was such a beautiful place to stay, right on the water in Polignano a Mare. Waking up to the sound of the ocean, watching the divers, and taking in the view made it incredibly special. But what made the stay unforgettable were the hosts. I ended up getting very sick during my trip, and they checked on me, brought me things I needed, and cared for me with such genuine kindness , honestly, like family would. They also went completely above and beyond with the little details. Because the property is in the historic center, getting luggage in and out can take a little coordination, and when I asked for help, she immediately organized a little tuk-tuk and a bike to help with my bags. I asked, and she delivered every single time with true five-star service. As a solo traveler, that level of care meant more than I can say. I felt safe, looked after, and completely at home. I truly couldn’t imagine a better place to stay in Polignano a Mare, and I would come back in a heartbeat.

Location and views from terrace are outstanding! Listening to the waves at night/watching the cliff diving and on a quiet street away from the crowds. Bed was very comfortable.

If you are elderly or have mobility issues, the stairs might not be for you, as is 3 levels.
