Simposio Suite

The apartment was very nice and spacious. Loved the historical building with original features (stone, wood doors, etc.) also a wonderful little balcony over the street. The location is perfect for a stay at Polignano a Mare - I would definitely stay here again when returning to Polignano a Mare.

Superbement situé en plein centre de Polignano, chambre spacieuse et très confortable, il y a tout ce qu’il vous faut. C’est globalement propre. Je recommande.

La chambre donne directement sur une rue fréquentée donc à éviter si vous avez un sommeil très léger sans bouchons d’oreille. Pour moi, cela n’a pas été un problème. Douche légèrement étroite par rapport à la spacieuse sdb mais ça fait l’affaire.

The location was very central and easy to get around. The apartment is large and super cute. The staff were very responsive and quick to action any question or issues they could amend. I asked for an extra blanket and had one delivered to the door with in 30 mins. Large wardrobe space, lots of air flow. Coffee machine and kitchenware available. Lots of towels provided. Lovely place to wake up and open the windows before everyone is awake.

Although I had read the reviews about the noisy restaurants and came with ear plugs knowing the apartment would be loud. (I was ok knowing there might be people chatting and eating until late) the noise was constant and alot more than I was expecting. The people talking and eating ect didn’t bother us. It was the dragging of heavy chairs and tables across cobbles streets at 2am in the morning while the restaurants packed up. Then the trucks coming at 5-6am to pick up what seemed like endless amounts of glass bottles being dumped in to the truck. Then the restaurants dragging the tables around again in the morning to set up for breakfast. (We didn’t stay on a weekend). It just never really stopped like I thought it would. The shower was terrible and I can see many reviews talking about it flooding but I wasn’t quite prepared for the severity of this. The shower fills up with water with in about 60seconds. If you don’t turn it off it will go over the lip and flood the bathroom. You have about 60 seconds of water then have to turn it off. It’s quite bad and many people have reported it so I’m surprised it hasn’t been fixed. The kitchen is well equipped however they have no cutting knifes. Only butter knifes. I was told this is policy for children’s safety. Which I think is silly as children have knifes in their own houses. There should be a safe place this could be kept out of reach. (Not the owners fault but a very silly rule) We did like the apartment and the owner was lovely and I could tell they were trying. However we did try to find somewhere else to stay after the 2nd night because of noise and shower. We felt it was a waste of money to leave after we had paid so stuck it out.

Great location, cute balcony and kitchen. Very clean. The host was extremely accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed. We never wanted to leave!
