Monachile Apartments & Terrace

The apartment was spacious. Tucked away at the end of a small alley. So close to all the restaurants, shops and beautiful views of the sea. Although so quiet where the apartment is. Absolutely loved our stay at Monachile

Nothing dramatic but the bathroom could use some wall hangers to hang up bath towels and a shelf near bath basin for toiletry products.

Komplett zentral gelegene Unterkunft, alles super sauber, sehr modern und schön und beste Ausgangslage mittens in Polignano. Sehr nettes Personal, zur Begrüßung auch Wasser im Zimmer. Man muss nur mitdenken, dass der Parkplatz ca. 10-15 min zu Fuß entfernt ist.

Really nice modern apartment with plenty of space. It’s so, so clean. Genuinely the whole building smells incredible. The staff are super friendly and went out of their way to help us. We locked our key in the room one night and someone was their within minutes to solve our problem. The view from the terrace is amazing as well. The location is unbeatable. You’re in walking distance of so many good bars, cafés, gelaterias and beaches.

The only thing that was a small issue was how cold the room can get. The AC is set to a predetermined level and we couldn’t seem to change it. That could be a user error though. Also, rather too cold in Italian summer than hot, so it’s not a big problem. The shower also didn’t heat up all the way so showers were lukewarm.

The location. The spaciousness.

The aircon did not work. We reported this to the managers and they said that they would send a technician. We didn’t see a technician and it was never fixed. It was very uncomfortable in the room. Also, when we first arrived, the hot water wasn’t working and again we had to contact the manager and they had to send somebody over to reset the boiler. It was very inconvenient. Also, the bathroom was very dirty. The shower is full of mould and it smelt like mould in that room. They offered us what they called an upgrade at a different hotel owned by the same people but when we looked at the room it wasn’t what we were after. It was just a room with a Jacuzzi in it and we wanted to be an apartment.
