About this cottage rental
Whether you're looking for coast or countryside you have found the perfect location to enjoy both. Picturesque St. Dogmaels conveniently hosts two pubs, a village shop, post office, chip shop and cafe. Find tasty local produce and locally made unique handcrafts at the weekly Farmer's Market and enjoy the views in the grounds of the 12th Century Abbey alongside neighbouring working mill and duck pond. The historic port town of Cardigan just over a mile away is celebrated for its thriving independent food and arts scene. Poppit Sands Blue flag beach is a 2 mile drive away and within 20 miles of Cardigan Bay's spectacular coastline you will be able to enjoy fabulous walks, water sports, beaches, dolphin spotting and nature reserves. The seaside villages of Mwnt (6 miles), Aberporth (8 miles) and New Quay (21 miles) are well worth visiting, and inland 17 miles you'll find the famous bluestone Preseli Mountains.
Step into the bright kitchen/diner, a lovely place where you can socialise. Dual-aspect windows and a wooden style floor emphasize the feeling of space. Alongside Shaker-style cupboards and vibrant tiling, you have everything you need in this self contained space. A small concealed dishwasher and washing machine help to make life easier. If you prefer to relax whilst someone else prepares the food, there is a sofa near to the dining table. Head through from the kitchen into the main lounge where comfortable seating surrounds a Smart TV - perfect for restful evenings after a day of exploring. The tranquil double bedroom is along the hallway offering ample storage for clothes and personal items. Adjacent to the bedroom you will find a shower room with a relaxing walk-in, rainfall shower and WC.
A lovely lawned back garden features outdoor seating for two and a BBQ, ready for you to enjoy sunny days and starlit evenings in the fresh air. There is also a further large open grass area which you are welcome to enjoy. Private parking is provided for one car, making easy access for arrivals and departures.
