Castle Cottage

We had a fortnight there. Beautiful and stylish renovation. Tastefully decorated and has everything you might need. A two minute walk from everywhere… loads of great eateries around, including Jake’s next door! He is super friendly and does great cocktails and tapas.. Another plus is that all the TVs in the house are fully up to date smart TVs. So you can do all your binge watching on rainy days or cosy nights. Loved the tri-fold doors and the comfy outdoor seating too. The host Gareth was generous and helpful. Will definitely return!

Not a dislike, but the reason I gave a 9 not a 10 was because of the lack of parking space (but this is the case for much of Cardigan). But as long as you know in advance, it’s fine. There are many car parks close by and the charges are currently £7 for 24 hours which is pretty reasonable. Also you can park at the bottom of the street opposite the Printworks from 5pm on Saturdays until 8am on Mondays, so that saves a day… You won’t need the car in Cardigan itself at all though.

Central. Quirky building. Very roomy

Quite cold without the heating on. Huge cobwebs in the kitchen round the bi-fold doors.

Fantastic location - near to restaurants, Theatre Mwldan - three cinemas and live productions and thriving market and High St. Short car drive to beaches. Lived in Cardigan for 35 years so delighted with such an accessible cottage. The patio area was a very welcome secluded spot and we had plenty of sun. It was wonderful to have three en suites which included one with bath. Four adults and two teenagers together but it. Never felt cramped. Amazing what builders did with the space.

Nothing it was all good. Very stocked kitchen but small thing we missed a sieve when we cooked some rice.🙄

The cottage was a great location right in the centre of cardigan. Renovated and designed to a high standard with a great use of space. 

Parking was a pain and the management company said there will be cash left for parking on the table in the cottage, there wasn’t! although parking wasn’t much, It’s a pain when you have to hunt round to get cash together to pay for parking as the card machine at the pay station in the car park wasn’t working! It also will be helpful if there was washing up liquid a dish cloth and kitchen roll, the basics really.
