About this cottage rental
Offering spacious accommodation for up to eight guests, this fantastic retreat is perfect for water sports fans, beach lovers, and nature spotters keen to discover a magnificent stretch of the North Cornwall coast. The property enjoys a fantastic location just a short walk of the centre of the vibrant resort of Newquay, with an abundance of restaurants, shops, cafes, and pubs close by. Both Towan Beach and Great Western Beach are just a 5 minute stroll from the property, with Fistral Beach and Watergate Bay both within a couple of miles. The town also has a wealth of popular attractions including the historic harbour, the Blue Reef Aquarium, Trenance Gardens, and Newquay Zoo. Inland, you can head to Lappa Valley, Springfield Fun Park, and Camel Creek Family Adventure Park, all within 13 miles.
Entering this colourfully decorated hideaway, the inviting entrance hallway leads to a comfortable lounge with ample seating, a big bay window providing a relaxing space to get together at the end of a fantastic day. Along the hall, an additional snug has further seating and a Smart TV, perfect for younger guests. The light-filled kitchen/diner is beautifully arranged, with a central dining table, ample workspace, and plenty of equipment for rustling up family feasts. The ground floor is rounded off with a shower room. Heading upstairs, the first floor features a bathroom and the first two of the property’s four stylish bedrooms: each with a king-size bed. Further stairs lead up to the second floor where you will have a choice of two lovely double bedrooms with characterful low, sloping ceilings, set in the eaves of the building.
Going outside, patio doors lead to a raised undercover terrace with built-in bench seating; a few steps lead down to a charming enclosed private patio with ample outdoor furniture, providing a lovely spot for sitting out in the afternoon and enjoying the sun. There’s private parking for one car on the driveway; additional roadside parking is subject to availability. A handy public car park is within half a mile (charges apply).
