About this house rental
Tucked into the trees in Royal, The Weekender sits just three miles from Brady Mountain Marina, one of the best launch points on Lake Ouachita — the largest and clearest lake in Arkansas. Crystal Springs Recreation Area is five miles down the road. Downtown Hot Springs, Hot Springs National Park, Oaklawn Racing Casino Resort, and Magic Springs are all about fifteen miles away, and a grocery run takes only a few minutes. Far enough out for real quiet, close enough for everything.
**Room to spread out**
Three bedrooms sleep your group comfortably: two queen beds and a twin, with a full bath plus a half bath so the morning rush keeps moving. Fresh bedding and beach towels are ready and waiting when you walk in. Bringing extra people? Two queen air mattresses are available — just pack bedding for them.
**A kitchen you can actually cook in**
Dishwasher, full side-by-side refrigerator, and a K-cup coffee maker for that first slow cup of the day. A hot-and-cold water dispenser means cold water and instant tea whenever you want it. Air conditioning keeps things comfortable through an Arkansas summer, high-speed internet reaches the whole house, and a large-screen TV with streaming is waiting for you after a long day on the water.
**Two kayaks, and room for whatever you towed in**
The kayaks come with the house — load them up and be paddling in minutes. Outside, a BBQ grill and outdoor seating make an easy spot for dinner under the trees. Parking is wide open, with space for an RV, a boat trailer, or several vehicles.
**Make a week of it**
Lake Ouachita is clear enough that divers travel here for it, with hundreds of undeveloped islands to explore by kayak or boat, plus some of the best striped bass fishing in the state. The surrounding Ouachita National Forest has miles of hiking and mountain biking. In town, you can soak in the historic bathhouses along Bathhouse Row in Hot Springs National Park, catch racing and gaming at Oaklawn, or spend the day on the coasters and slides at Magic Springs. Rock hounds are half an hour from the quartz crystal mines around Mount Ida.
**Settle in**
Whether you're coming off a full day on the lake or easing into a quiet morning with coffee outside, this is the kind of place where you unwind fast. We're available throughout your stay if you need anything or want a local recommendation — otherwise, we'll leave you to your vacation.
