About this house rental
Located at the gateway to the Champagne Ardennes, this spacious farmhouse with a surface area of 250 m² has been transformed into a family home. It offers a beautiful 4,000 m² garden, a jacuzzi, a small football field, a volleyball court, a barn set up for games and a breathtaking view of a picturesque landscape. Ideal for a long weekend or a week of family holidays.
The village of Parfondeval is classified as one of the most beautiful villages in France. Here you will find a restaurant, a petanque court and a walking path that will take you to discover the historical sites, including old public baths and the Saint-Médard de Parfondeval church. Parfondeval is located on a cultural route that will take you past fortified churches.
ACCOMMODATION:
On our property you will find a large house with a comfortable sitting area, dining table, coffee corner, TV with Netflix and a kitchen-dining room equipped with a fireplace, 6-burner gas hob, large oven, dishwasher, microwave, ice maker and fridge. Laundry room with washing machine, dryer, small freezer, large games cupboard and WC with sink. Spacious dining room with a 4-metre long table, ideal for joyful family evenings.
The entrance hall gives access to a passageway leading to the barn converted into a games room and a staircase to the first floor, where there are 3 bedrooms and a bathroom with bath, shower and washbasin.
The barn converted into a games room includes a table tennis table, a dartboard and a table football. The en-suite shower room is equipped with a washbasin, shower and toilet. There is also an additional washing machine and dryer, as well as a separate toilet. The 4th bedroom is located on the first floor.
GARDEN:
The house is surrounded by a garden with a beautifully lit football pitch, a wood-fired hot tub for 4 people and children's games. A covered terrace is equipped with a gas barbecue, charcoal barbecue and a large dining table.
SURROUNDINGS:
The country house is a 5-minute drive from a large supermarket, bakery, butcher and pharmacy. In the immediate vicinity you will find wonderful hiking and cycling trails (including mountain bike trails). Within a 30-60 minute drive you will find climbing spots, a beautiful lake with beach, an indoor and outdoor swimming pool with slides, a bowling alley, a go-kart track, a large supermarket, various shops, restaurants and a hospital.
The cities of Charleville, Laon and Reims can be reached in less than an hour's drive. In Reims, you can visit many champagne houses as well as the famous cathedral.

* Flexible check-in and check-out times (late check-out is possible at no extra cost, for example). We will discuss this with you after your booking.
* PRIVATE POOL! From 1 July to 31 August, a swimming pool (8 x 4 m) is available on our property.
* Air conditioning in the rooms is available from 1 June to 1 October (extra charge).
* Available: 2 travel cots (120 x 60 cm).
* Available: 2 bed rails.
* Available: stair rails.
* Available: bed linen (free of charge). Beds are to be made by the hosts.
* Dogs allowed (on request) (except in the rooms).
* The adjoining cottage (with 2 additional bedrooms) is also available for rent and is connected to the house by a passageway.
* On request, we can arrange a French chef to come to your home (3/4/5 course menu).
* We also offer massages at home.
