Great location for exploring Flanders

The garden was extremely pretty and the cottage was large for one or two families to share. The location was perfect to explore Flanders and only 50minute drive to Calais for either the ferry or tunnel. The host Marianne, was very helpful, generous and welcoming The cottage itself was quirky with a French country feel. My son enjoyed the swimming pond! Would recommend and we would stay there again.

A hidden gem and the perfect getaway

The old rustic country style house was a perfect getaway from the noise and hassle of the city.

It was so hot the week that we stayed and we didn’t have any fans to stay cool at night.

Piękny stary dom z duszą.Otoczenie,ogród,staw.Cudne miasteczko z kościołem,który nas zachwycił i starym cmentarzem.W miasteczku i okolicy mnóstwo restauracji.Blisko na wybrzeże.W domu doskonale wyposażona kuchnia,łazienka z wanną i druga z prysznicem.Sami posiadamy taki stary dom więc wiemy ile pracy trzeba włożyć w utrzymanie.Bardzo zadbany ogród z cudnym podjazdem.W okolicy mnóstwo tras rowerowych.Bardzo mili i pomocni o każdej porze właściciele.Spędziliśmy tutaj kilka niezapomnianych dni naszej podróży.Jeszcze muszę wspomnieć,że mieszkańcy miasteczka również byli dla nas niezwykle uprzejmi.Może będziemy mieli okazję kiedyś wrócić.

Een verborgen parel midden in de velden

Het mooie weer in combinatie met deze mooie locatie zorgde ervoor dat we een memorabel verblijf hebben gehad. We hebben met volle teugen kunnen genieten van de tuin en de zwemvijver. In de woning was ook alles in orde. Het contact met de eigenaars verliep zeer goed en vlot. Bedankt voor het prettig verblijf!

Super genoten!

Wat een ongelooflijk mooi paradijsje. De tuin had zoveel leuke hoekjes en de woning had bakken charme. Maar vooral de gastvrijheid van de Regi en Brigitte zal ons bijblijven. Hoewel we ze niet ontmoet hebben, slaagden ze er bij elke interactie in om ons helemaal thuis te laten voelen. We zijn gewoon om op weekend te gaan en een basispakket aan voorzieningen mee te nemen. Bij dit huisje was dat geheel overbodig. Regi en Brigitte hadden werkelijk aan alles gedacht: peper zout en andere kruiden, koffie en koffiefilters, toiletpapier, huishoudrol, handdoeken in overvloed. Helemaal top!

Het kraken van de vloeren is inherent aan zo een charmewoning. Maar we hadden de impact op onze hondjes onderschat die zich telkens een hoedje verschoten als er iemand boven hen naar het toilet moest. Ik ben er uiteindelijk bij gaan liggen. Maar de zetel lag ook verrassend goed. En het is heerlijk koel beneden, zelfs bij zomerse temperaturen

Keuken handdoeken was eigenlijk het enige minpuntje want we vonden er geen.

keuken alles op en aan, zeer ruime woning, vlotte communicatie met de hosts, gezellige tuin, erg rustig

zeer kleine opmerking: de douchekop van het bad beneden geeft veel te fijne straaltjes water

Superfijne ontvangst door de gastvrouw én de eigenaar. Het is een erg oude woning, maar met kennis van zaken opgeknapt en heel aangenaam om te logeren. Gehorig met al de houten vloeren, maar o zo charmant. Aanrader voor wie niet van afgelikt houdt, maar wel van charmant en erg rustig. Prima omgeving om te wandelen, fietsen en snel aan zee...
