Enjoy a wonderful stay at Resarö, Vaxholm, in your own fully renovated seaside cottage with the waterfront just a few meters away. The cottage is beautifully situated on a large, sunny lot with its own beach and a panoramic view of the sea. Follow the sun all day long, from sunrise to the beautiful sunset. Enjoy the scent of the sea, the sound of the waves, and the birds singing in the trees throughout your entire stay—it’s like balm for the soul.
The cottage has been newly renovated with brand-new furnishings and includes everything you need for a comfortable and exclusive stay. The cottage is light and airy, with exterior architecture inspired by the early 20th century. The interior evokes the New England style, featuring white-painted wooden paneling and furnishings that blend the feel of the sky, the sea, rustic charm, and luxury. Enjoy your stay by taking a dip in the sea from the private jetty and beach or sunbathing in the lounge chairs.
If the weather calls for spending time indoors, you can relax on the cozy sofa by candlelight in front of the fireplace, preparing a meal in the fully equipped kitchen, spending time in the private garden, or exploring the vast possibilities via TV or the Internet—all while surrounded by the sea as your closest neighbor.
Of course, there’s also the opportunity to explore the wonderful activities in the surrounding area, ranging from relaxing walks, tennis, fishing, and jogging on the island to visits to nearby Vaxholm (5 km), Stockholm (30 km), and other picturesque spots in the archipelago just a few nautical miles away (Grinda, Gällnö, Svartsö, Finnhamn). On Resarö, you can also rent canoes, kayaks, SUPs, and bicycles.
The beach house features a separate, cozy bedroom with a 150x200 cm bed (queen size) for two adults and several windows. The bathroom is modernly equipped (toilet, sink, shower, hair dryer, towel dryer, and washing machine with dryer). The kitchen is fully equipped with an induction stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, and refrigerator. The living room features a dining table, a sofa with a side table (including a sofa bed/additional double bed measuring 140x200 cm when needed), a bar counter facing the kitchen, and a fireplace (due to fire safety regulations, only the use of candles is permitted). The open layout with high ceilings creates a fantastic sense of freedom. A walk-in closet is also available, where you can store your luggage and belongings. Most of the lighting can be dimmed, and the outdoor lights adjust automatically to the rising and setting of the sun.
On the large balcony, you’ll enjoy a panoramic view of the sea while relaxing on the authentic garden furniture. Here, you also have the option to barbecue. On the private property, approximately 1,500 m², you’ll have plenty of space to have fun, play games, or simply relax on the grass. You can park your car next to the cottage in your own parking space.
The living area is suitable for 2 adults. Bed linens and towels are included in the price.
