Hans Hansen - Freester Captain's Houses

The Hans Hansen vacation home is one of the Freester Captain’s Houses and offers 130 m² of space for up to 9 people. The rooms are spread across the first floor, first floor, and attic, providing plenty of space for families, groups of families, or multigenerational vacations. Dogs and other pets are not allowed in this house. On the first floor, you’ll find an open-concept living and dining area with a cozy sofa, an electric fireplace, and a fully equipped kitchen. There’s plenty of room here for shared meals, relaxing evenings, and social gatherings. The large dining table can be converted into a pool table, making the living area a lovely gathering spot even when the weather is bad. There is also a bathroom with a shower and toilet on this level. Two bedrooms are available on the first floor. One bedroom is furnished with two single beds (90x200 each). The second bedroom features a double bed (180x200) as well as two additional sleeper chairs (75x190 each). Also on this floor is the spacious bathroom with a shower, toilet, bathtub, and sauna. The attic features another bedroom with a double bed (180x200) and an adjacent guest restroom. An extra bed for one additional person is available either on the sofa bed in the bedroom (80x180) or in the open loft area with a single bed (80x200).
A washing machine ensures your comfort during your stay. Outside, you have access to the shared terrace with seating and a grill—perfect for shared meals, barbecue evenings, and relaxing after an outing in Freest and the surrounding area.



The Freest Captain’s Houses Claus Clausen and Hans Hansen are located right next to each other in the fishing village of Freest and each offer 130 m² of space for up to 9 people. With three bedrooms, two bathrooms, an additional guest restroom, a sauna, and a shared terrace with a grill, the houses are particularly well-suited for families, families of friends, or multi-generational vacations. Inside, you’ll find a spacious living area with a maritime atmosphere, a cozy sofa, an electric fireplace, and direct access to the terrace. The open kitchen is fully equipped and flows seamlessly into the dining area. A special highlight is the dining table, which can be converted into a pool table, ensuring fun times together and a cheerful atmosphere even on rainy days.
The sleeping areas and bathrooms are spread across the first floor, upper floor, and attic. On the first floor, there is a bathroom with a shower and toilet. Also on this level are the open-concept living and dining area with an electric fireplace, the fully equipped kitchen, and access to the shared terrace with a grill. On the first floor, there are two bedrooms. One bedroom is furnished with two single beds, while the second features a double bed and two sleeper chairs. This floor also houses the spacious bathroom with a shower, toilet, bathtub, and sauna. The attic features another bedroom with a double bed. Adjacent to it is a guest restroom. In addition, there is a single bed in the open loft area of the attic, so the houses can accommodate up to 9 people in total.
A washing machine is also available, making the houses practical even for longer stays.
Outside, the shared terrace with seating and a grill invites you to enjoy relaxing evenings. Here, after a day at the beach, the harbor, or out on the water, you can eat together, sit together, and let the day wind down peacefully.
The two houses are similarly equipped and differ mainly in their pet policies. At the Claus Clausen house, pets are allowed by prior arrangement; at the Hans Hansen house, pets are not permitted.



Check-in is from 4:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m., and check-out is from 12:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
