The Space:
Welcome to the Big House, a charming 3200 square foot residence dating back to the 1930s, nestled on 10 acres of scenic woodland within the family oriented Yarmouth Country Cabins retreat. This spacious home features beautiful hardwood floors and ample built in storage throughout, preserving the historic character of the original architecture while providing modern comforts. Guests can enjoy a large living room perfect for gathering around the fireplace, a fully equipped galley style kitchen for all your culinary needs, and a formal dining room that comfortably seats 12 people, making it an ideal space for large family dinners or holiday celebrations. The property includes four well appointed bedrooms: one queen bedroom on the main floor for easy access, and three additional bedrooms upstairs featuring a mix of queen, full, and twin beds to accommodate various group sizes. Outdoor amenities include a large deck with a gas grill, tables, and chairs, providing a perfect setting for outdoor gatherings. Guests also have access to a shared communal heated salt chlorinated pool with a brick patio, open from June through September, which serves as a refreshing oasis during the warm summer months. The home is also equipped with air conditioning to ensure a cool environment during hot days and a washer and dryer for your convenience during longer stays. Whether you are looking for a peaceful getaway surrounded by nature or a central hub for exploring the local area, this residence offers the perfect blend of rustic charm and functional living space for your next vacation.
Yarmouth Country Cabins is a campground themed family resort. Whether you are a family looking for a summer vacation, or a couple looking for a weekend retreat, Yarmouth Country Cabins could be the spot for you! All guests have access to outdoor heated outdoor pool that is salt water chlorinated for a more relaxing experience. A recreation area with ping pong table, volleyball court, and Bocci ball court. A very large playground area for kids with beach sand. There many outdoor fire pit areas where fires are hosted nightly weather permitting, bring the marshmallows for smores! Access to bicycles for exploring the local area, or just to ride around the campground. Both gas and charcoal grills are available so you can enjoy your summer evening cooking on the grill followed by a short walk to the local Ice Cream stand .2 Miles away! Hammocks, wood swings, picnic tables are located throughout the property for guests to enjoy. For larger parties or family gatherings we have a Barn and Large Pergola space available that can be rented for family cookouts, gatherings etc.. please inquire with the host if your party is interested in this! A laundry room with 2 washers and dryers is also available to guests during there stay.
The pool is open from June 15 – October 15

Private entrance to the property limits traffic creating a safe place for families to enjoy the natural surroundings. Plenty of parking.

Yarmouth Country Cabins is perfectly situated at 878 Massachusetts Route 28, offering guests a prime location for exploring the best of Cape Cod. You are just one mile away from stunning oceanside beaches, which are easily accessible by a long walk, a quick drive, or a leisurely bike ride using our complimentary bicycles. For those seeking entertainment, the popular Skull Island Adventure Golf, featuring a driving range and arcade, is within easy walking distance. The surrounding area is also rich with opportunities for fishing, local shopping, and various recreational activities, making this the ideal home base for your next getaway.
Getting Around:
Located just off route 28 means easy access to all the cape has to offer.
Other Things to Note:
Pet Policy: All dogs must be leashed at all times outside. Please be courteous of others, dogs must be well trained and not disturb others during quiet hours. Dogs and Cats must have current rabies shot, and flea and tick prevention. A non-refundable pet fee of $100 per pet applies. If bad reports from neighbors of barking and howling, you must be able to respond immediately. Guests arriving with pets may be asked to leave the property if pet is causing issues with the neighbors. There are no refunds for stays that have been asked to vacate. This is a tight spaced community. Vacationing with a pet is a big commitment and we strictly enforce this policy. Please bring good family pets. More than one pet? This will need an email from the owner that pet fee was paid and pets were disclosed to the owner inside your reservation portal. Always provide your pets breed as we screen the 10 most aggressive breeds from staying with us.

My family and I had a great time, the house was prefect. It was spacious, we are a family of 8, and the kitchen was fully stocked. Beds were comfortable and the area was walking distance to most. Our hosts, we wonderful! Will definitely go back!!

Loved the house. Fit my family, grandkids and all perfectly. Having the ammenities of the pool, firepit and playground was fabulous. Even had one grandchild learn to swim while we were there. Jerry and Audrey couldnt have been nicer. Even had an important item left behind and Audrey saved the day by finding it and making arrangements to have it returned. Definitely want to return next year!

Very spacious house-the rooms were all large. The kitchen was fully stocked and great appliances. We enjoyed the private deck with a grill, the pool and all the games/activaties such as corn hole, ping pong and bocce ball.

Pros: spacious, clean, comfortable, cozy house with many amenities both in and around the home. Plenty of towels, dishes and kitchen cookware, which we loved, as well as newish washer, dryer, and dishwasher, which came in handy with our large group (8, plus guests who stopped by for quick visits.) Recommendations: The upstairs bathroom fan needs to be fixed and/or window, which won’t open. Ventilation desperately needed! Adding family-sized, refillable shampoo, body wash and conditioner would have been a nice touch. We had to buy all this, plus detergent, salt, pepper, and similar amenities that we take for granted at many rental houses. The ping pong table was fun, but we could only find one ball. Pool was lovely but one ladder needs tightening. Otherwise… we had a blast!
