About this cottage rental
Make the most of the exceptional on-site facilities with a round of golf, relaxing spa treatment or meal in the estate’s bar or restaurants. Pick up essentials in the nearby towns of Callington (3.5 miles) or Saltash (6 miles) where you’ll find supermarkets, pubs and restaurants. For serious shopping and sightseeing, head to the city of Plymouth (12 miles), with its outstanding attractions such as the National Marine Aquarium, the iconic Plymouth Hoe, and historic Barbican. Stride out on the South West Coast Path for scenic jaunts by the sea, taking in coastal villages such as Kingsand, Cawsand (18.5 miles), Looe (15.5 miles) and Polperro (20.5 miles). There is a wealth of family-friendly attractions nearby, including Morwellham Quay (11.5 miles), Adrenalin Quarry (12 miles) and the National Trust’s Cotehele Mill (3.5 miles).
As you enter the hallway you will immediately notice the fabulous spiral staircase which takes you up to the bedrooms on the first floor. On the ground floor is a wonderful lounge/kitchen/dining room as well as a shower room with WC. The large open-plan space offers contemporary living, and the fully equipped kitchen offers an electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and washing machine - everything you could need to cook up a meal or pack up a good lunch. The lounge area offers comfy seating, a Smart TV and patio doors that lead out onto a sunny terrace area, the perfect spot for relaxing with a cold drink after a long day. There is a good-size dining table with plenty of seating, a great place where the family can sit together and talk about their day over a meal or play a game together. Moving up the spiral staircase, you will find a WC and two bedrooms, including a bunk room with plenty of storage space. The stunning master bedroom features a super-king-size zip-and-link bed (which can be made up as a twin on request at the time of booking), a dressing area, seating area with a comfy chair, coffee table and a Smart TV, the perfect place to relax with a good book or watch your favourite programmes. This room also features a freestanding bath where you can bubble away after a long day out exploring. You also have French doors leading out to the balcony with views out over the countryside.
Outside is a terrace area with garden furniture, and a balcony off the master bedroom. There are also 450 acres of natural grounds to roam. Guests have use of the Health Club, and there is private off-road parking for two cars.
