About this cottage rental
This stylish property with its breath taking views overlooks Lusty Glaze Beach, one of Newquay’s finest stretches of sand. Just a few yards away, the award-winning Lusty Glaze Beach has its own bars and restaurant, a wide range of water sports (including jet skiing) and being privately owned is dog-friendly all year round as well as offering exclusive access to some of Cornwall's best surfing. Wayfarer is also a few minutes from Porth beach and within walking distance of the town centre (you can even walk there along the beach at low tide) with further beaches, shops, bars, Newquay Zoo and Blue Reef Aquarium. Situated on the coastal path which is very popular with walkers and right by Newquay's open, green spaces there is much to see and do in the surrounding area, including beautiful Watergate Bay, home to the Boardmasters music and surfing festival.
Stepping into this stunning property, you immediately feel the luxury. Guests also remark on how much space Wayfarer has, with its large bedrooms, dining room, sitting room, separate large utility area, games room (with table tennis and pool table) as well as a second large lounge and balcony. It never feels crowded and there is always somewhere to retreat to (including an upstairs bath positioned so you can take in the coastal views!) Its open-plan kitchen is fully equipped including a double electric oven and an island housing a pop-up power tower and wine cooler. It is really the perfect kitchen for cooking up a feast for the family or sitting around the large breakfast bar - or on the leather sofa - for morning coffee freshly made form the coffee machine. The kitchen is also light and airy, with floor to ceiling bifold doors opening up onto the enclosed, landscaped garden, ideal for those summer days. On the ground floor is the first lounge with two sofas, Sky TV and a wood burner. There are three bedrooms on this floor a super king-size (can be made up as a twin on request) with en-suite and bi-fold doors into the garden, a twin room bedroom (can be made up as a super king-size on request) and a king-size bedroom and a further separate bathroom. Moving up the glass staircase you reach the fourth bedroom the master suite complete with walk-in wardrobe, cosy lounge area and en-suite bathroom. On this floor is also the highlight of Wayfarer the spacious, open plan sun lounge with luxurious sofa, large floor to ceilings windows, Bluetooth speaker, reading lights and an area for making cocktails complete with granite sink. Ideal to retreat to at any time for some peace and relaxation, it features the balcony with uninterrupted panoramic views of the sea and Cornish coastline. The perfect place to watch the sunset at the end of your day.
Wayfarer is so versatile. There is access to both the garden and the side of the property through a gate at the front which leads to a side return with an outdoor hot shower for washing away the sand (also useful for sandy dogs!) after your fun-packed day at the beach. There is private parking for three cars and further parking on the road subject to availability.
