About this cottage rental
Nestled in the North Devon countryside, this welcoming home is part of a complex of three cottages with beautiful gardens to relax in. Just 5 miles from the Victorian fishing town of Ilfracombe, you can take boating trips around the coastline or a fishing trip and bring the catch of the day home for lunch. Stroll around the town and discover a plethora of shops, cafes and restaurants. Within 6 miles you have the award-winning beach of Woolacombe which is a mecca for surfing, and you can enjoy its 3 miles of golden sands. Walking enthusiasts will be spoilt for choice with the South West Coast Path and Exmoor National Park within 7 miles.
Upon entering this characterful cottage, step into the lounge with its beautiful oak beams and wood burner, where you are sure to feel relaxed. Complete with comfy sofas and a Smart TV, you can enjoy watching a favourite movie with your family and friends. Step up into the cottage kitchen and here you can enjoy cooking a favourite recipe, with an electric oven and hob, dishwasher, microwave, fridge/freezer and coffee machine – the utility room houses the washing machine. Take the stairs to the two bedrooms, one of which is a king-size bed with a separate dressing room and an en-suite shower room with a WC. The other is a twin room benefitting from an en-suite bathroom with shower over bath and WC.
There are two areas outside to sit, with patio furniture. One overlooks the delightful gardens. You will be able to relax out here after a day of adventure and dine alfresco using the charcoal BBQ. There is a shared garden area with a small children’s playground too.
