Heron Cottage is a lovely cottage set on a working farm in Watermouth near Berrynarbor in Devon and can sleep five people. There is a double bedroom, a family room with three single beds, a bathroom, a kitchen and a sitting room with a dining area. Outside there is off road parking for one car, a private courtyard with furniture, a shared private beach 500 yards away and a shared picnic area, dog exercise field and playground. Heron Cottage is an ideal holiday base. Please Note: Bookings at this property must be a minimum of 2 nights.
The Neighborhood:
The village of Berrynarbor is ideally placed at the end of the wonderful Sterridge Valley. The village is surrounded by woodlands and farms. The narrow streets are beautifully lined with cottages, gardens and floral displays. This part of Devon is also designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, perfect for walkers and birdwatchers, due to the coastal cliffs and rugged landscape. The North Devon Coastal Path is also an essential part of your holiday if you enjoy walking. The coastal towns and villages of Illfracombe, Combe Martin, Barnstaple and Woolacombe are only a short drive away. This area of North Devon is in a beautiful part of the country and a region that the whole family will enjoy all year round.

Genuinely lovely cottage in beautiful surroundings.
I get quite anxious around what accommodation is going to.be like and this was wonderful.
King size bed in large bedroom and decent second bedroom with two proper single beds
All tastefully decorated
Good rainfall shower, kitchen had all utensils, microwave, dishwasher etc
Freeview TV, good wifi and comfy sofas
Owners on site, very accessible and friendly
This cottage is on a site as one of 10 cottages on huge grounds, with a private beach and access to the North Devon coastal walk
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend!
