A peaceful retreat in the heart of the Yorkshire Wolds, this charming lodge is situated on a tranquil working farm just 4.5 miles from the historic market town of Driffield, often referred to as the ‘Capital of the Wolds.’ Perfect for couples, families and groups seeking a restful getaway, the lodge offers space, privacy, and breathtaking views across the surrounding countryside. Nature lovers will adore the nearby woodland and wildlife haven, while the region boasts excellent walking trails and quaint villages to explore. For day trips, the beautiful Yorkshire Coast is within easy reach, with Bridlington 12 miles away and Scarborough 22 miles. Nearby attractions include Sledmere House (11 miles), offering stunning gardens and historic charm, and Hunmanby Gap (10 miles), a peaceful sandy beach ideal for a relaxing stroll.
Step inside this inviting lodge to discover a warm and thoughtfully designed interior. The open-plan living area features wood-clad walls and ceilings, creating a cosy yet contemporary feel. Comfortable seating surrounds a Smart TV, perfect for relaxing evenings, while French doors flood the space with natural light and open directly onto the outside decking. The well-laid-out kitchen comes with everything needed to prepare delicious meals, including a coffee machine for your morning brew. The lodge has two stylish en-suite bedrooms. One boasts a king-size bed and a tasteful en-suite shower room, while the other has a super king-size bed (which can be arranged as a twin on request) has an en-suite with a shower over the bath.
To the rear of the property lies a private decking area, equipped with outdoor furniture and a charcoal BBQ, all perfect for dining alfresco or simply soaking up the fantastic countryside views. Guests can also enjoy access to their own grassed area, ideal for a game with the kids or relaxing with a book. Parking is provided for two cars just outside the lodge.
