Nestled in the picturesque Yorkshire Wolds, just 4.5 miles from the historic market town of Driffield, it’s ideal for those looking to soak up the tranquillity of rolling hills and open spaces. The area boasts several fantastic walking routes that inspired David Hockney, making it a haven for nature enthusiasts. The Yorkshire Coast is also within easy reach, with seaside towns like Bridlington only 12 miles away, offering stunning beaches and exhilarating activities such as surfing and coasteering. Families will love exploring attractions such as Burton Agnes Hall (5.5 miles) and Sledmere House and Gardens (11 miles), while the market town of Beverley, 18 miles from home, offers shops, cafes, and charming streets to explore as well as its impressive Minister.
Step inside to find a warm and inviting interior with wood-clad walls and ceilings throughout, creating a cosy atmosphere. The lodge features a spacious and open-plan living area complete with comfortable seating, French doors, and a smart TV for cosy evenings in. The well-designed kitchen includes everything you need to prepare meals, with thoughtful touches such as a coffee machine for your morning brew. Two bedrooms offer flexible sleeping arrangements and restful nights; the main bedroom features a king-size bed and blackout curtains, while the second bedroom boasts a super king-size bed (can be made into a twin on request). Both bedrooms have ample storage space, and there is a stylish family shower room.
Outside, you’ll find a private deck equipped with comfortable patio furniture and a BBQ, perfect for dining alfresco and enjoying the beautiful countryside views. There’s also a grassed area ideal for relaxing outdoors. Private parking for two cars is available.
