About this apartment rental
Spend the morning at the private owners’ beach, take a swim in turquoise water, and come back to a shaded lanai and a pool just steps away. This two-bedroom, two-bath Mauna Lani Fairways townhome sleeps four and puts you inside the Mauna Lani Resort on the sunny Kohala Coast. Air conditioning, two private lanais, a full kitchen with stainless steel appliances, and an in-home washer and dryer make longer stays easy. The nearby lagoon-style pool and hot tub offer a low-key alternative to a beach day, while championship golf and the Shops at Mauna Lani give the resort area its easy rhythm. Cook at home, walk to dining, or head toward Waikoloa for more choices. This is a laid-back, well-equipped setting for two couples or a small family who want beach access and sunny resort days without rushing them.
The Space:
Two private lanais extend the living space of this two-bedroom, two-bath townhome for four. The sunlit living room has a sofa and two armchairs for relaxed movie nights, while the kitchen brings stainless steel appliances, granite counters, and an island with seating. Upstairs, the primary suite has carved Hawaiian furnishings, a double vanity, a walk-in shower, and a jetted tub. Air conditioning and a washer and dryer make the practical details easy.
Guest Access:
Guests have access to Mauna Lani Fairways' lagoon-style heated pool and shared hot tub, both just steps from the townhome. The home also includes garage parking and private lanais for relaxed time outdoors. Beach club and other resort facilities are operated independently, and access may be subject to their rules.
The Neighborhood:
Mauna Lani Fairways is inside the Mauna Lani Resort on the Big Island’s sunny Kohala Coast, where black lava landscapes meet calm blue coves. The resort is known for golf, beach time, and sunsets, with the Shops at Mauna Lani nearby for groceries, restaurants, and an easy coffee run. Private beach access gives you a convenient place to swim, while Waikoloa is a short drive for more dining and shopping. This is a relaxed resort setting for families and couples who want warm water, easy logistics, and plenty of room to slow down.
Getting Around:
Kona International Airport is about 35 to 40 minutes away by car. A rental car is recommended for exploring the Kohala Coast, nearby beaches, Waikoloa, and the rest of the island. Within Mauna Lani, some beaches, dining, and shops are a short drive or bike ride away. Parking is available at the townhome, and the resort area is straightforward to navigate.
Other Things to Note:
This rental is located right next to the Complex Maintenance Operations area and noise is audible while work is being done there, specifically on the lanai.
